⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A galactic save after a rocky start!

I ordered a custom Star Wars cake for my son’s first birthday party, and while there were definitely some bumps along the way, the final cake ended up being beautiful, delicious, and a huge hit at the party!

The process started strong — I worked with a talented baker who really understood my vision for a tall, 4-layer galaxy cake with lightsabers and LEGO Star Wars characters.

Unfortunately, the original baker left the bakery unexpectedly, and I was never notified. This led to a significant breakdown in communication. I continued to check in, but the updates I received were unclear, which caused a lot of confusion. My son's Abuelita picked up the cake for me, so I only saw a photo at first — and that picture didn’t do it justice. I had asked again about the height and mentioned to the manager that the galaxy design didn’t appear to cover the whole cake, but that concern was never addressed.

However, once I saw the cake in person, I realized it was a full galaxy design and actually quite large. It completely exceeded what the photo showed. And here’s the thing — the team really stepped up. They improvised with laminated LEGO character toppers, added black chocolate drip, star confetti, and used an amazing fudge frosting that everyone raved about. Even though it wasn’t exactly the size I had originally envisioned, it was still stunning and tasted absolutely delicious.

I do think the communication could’ve been better and more transparent, especially when challenges came up — but I’m grateful for the effort and creativity that went into making my son’s cake special. Thank you for the save, and for helping make Griffin’s big day...

I truly wanted to enjoy this local bakery, but unfortunately, the service fell short. Back in November, I placed an order for my toddler's birthday and requested it to be ready by noon. The staff called to inform me that it would be ready by 3 PM, which was acceptable for that occasion. However, I made it very clear multiple times that I needed another cake for the birthday party to be ready by 11 AM at the latest. I was assured both in person and over the phone that it would be ready on time. On the day of the event, I received a voicemail stating it wouldn't be ready until 3 PM. By chance we ran into this bakery and I decided to order a birthday cake for my son. The owners were super sweet and they had a lot of flavors to choose from. He loves oreos so that's what I ordered. Not only was the price super reasonable, with a 2-day turn around, but the cake was like eating an oreo. It was delicious!!!!! Besides the cake, we tried a variety of the desserts that they had in the display case. The tiramisu melted in your mouth, macarons were perfections, the pistachios muffins and cookies were amazing!!!!!!! Everything was delicious and decently priced.
