Corky's Kitchen and Bakery - Yucaipa — Restaurant in Yucaipa

Like going to friends house for breakfast, lunch or dinner .. Waitresse's are so friendly and on spot... food has been pretty consistent except for a few times... but I am picky about my food... I have not tried it all,but can tell u the Turkey stuffing dinner has never failed.. always good... either senior menu or not.. depends on how hungry u r... the Salads are always made fresh by hand,n always good... best in town...every person we have taken their for Salads... Love them... Baked potato...best!!.Steaks senior dinner.. omgosh!!. Good n tender.. 2 occasions I have gotten tough ones.. n Yes..the waitress will get them to fix that...very accommodating...My Favorite. The senior Turkey stuffing with baked potato or the chicken salad either grilled or crispy.... enough for my lunch the next day.. Now for desserts.. like everyone else..best place for desserts..until they brought the Head Baker Amanda out front and in back baking only a couple days.. desserts failed to please..everyone n they know it..besides me others told them.. so happy to say..Amanda is back full time baking.. cheesecake back to normal So.. now for the waitresses..they r all so accommodating to make your visit a happy n good one... there is Britney,Becca,Dani,Danielle,Denise a couple of them,Laura, Tami and the Boy's r just at good n nice also... the Manager Nancy is very good also..let your waiter or waitress know if theres a problem and she will let them know... This is our Favorite...

We came here after a very disappointing evening involving a chain restaurant not serving us.

Desiree was our server and she was PHENOMENAL. She took our orders quickly, had the condiments and things we asked for (salsa, ranch, extra napkins) at the table right away, and went out of her way to make us and our kids feel special and taken care of. She was extremely knowledgeable about the restaurant and did a fantastic job, showing great pride in her work and the restaurant itself. She told us that the food was never frozen, all fresh, which is clear because there was a huge difference in the taste.

I don't know if you are in need of managers or are able to give out any raises, but I think you should give your girl Desiree something extra for being such a committed, positive worker! This was our first visit to Corky's and we have never met her before but the combination of AMAZING FOOD (shout out to the owners for their vision and cooks for their mad skills too) and her superb customer service blew us all away.

If I had a ton of money I'd have given her a HUGE tip. We gave the biggest we could, keeping in mind our finances for the month, but I had to also review the place so she could get the credit she deserves....

Okay I hate to give bad reviews and usually when I've had a bad experience I try to find a positive some where but my recent experience here was very disappointing we did an online order I went alone to pick it up walked in and sat for awhile thinking eventually someone would have to come out to assist me but nobody did there was a bus boy who passed to quick for me to stop but nobody else never even came to the front. I worked at Mimis Cafe for 7 years and started as a host we were trained to never leave that podium at least one of us had to always be there if we were working the front alone at times we would and say we had to use the restroom or we were seating guests we had to seat as close to eye view of the front and we always had to acknowledge guests as they entered or they would leave feeling ignored as I felt and did leave today when I was suppose to pick up my order I'm sorry but in the restaurant industry the customers are what will make you or break you a restaurant relies on the their customers. Usually I love this place but after my experience today i don't think I would want you even return sorry but there's really no excuse for ignoring customers at all especially if it...
