Las Tortas Mexican Food #2 — Restaurant in Yucaipa

I was craving a California burrito and decided to try this place out. The place is small but there's booths for dinning in. There was TV and A/C so it was comfortable. I ordered the California burrito and a corona michilada. The michilada was great. The burrito was a bummer. The carne asada was a bit over cooked, they went heavy on the sour cream and there wasn't even avocado or guacamole, as California burritos are typically made with. The burrito was big and I only ate half but definitely will not be ordering that burrito from here again. But I will likely come back to try something else as the salsa was decent and so...

Use to love their food. Got the menudo which used to be really delicious but now appears to have a different cook. It was probably the worst we’ve had, although sadly there other places that don’t make it well too. The taste was bland, meat under cooked & rubbery & the chile broth was dark red orange, but have no idea what was in it as it was unflavored.

Service was the only good thing.
