Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Yucaipa

I have been coming here for 20 years. Since there was new ownership this place is no longer some where I will continue to give my business. The staff is rude plain and simple. For the past 17 years when ever my niece has come to visit me she's so excited to go there(there's none where she lives) because she loves their food specifically the onion rings. Yesterday, when we placed our order which clearly were told the onion rings instead of fries -apparently the lady did not hear us. We paid drove the 10 minutes home and my niece was super bummed when she realized they didn't have them in the bag so I decided I would go back and get them I don't mind eating cold food for her to be happy. I had called ahead of time so they can start making them and instead of any apologies they acted like we were the ones who didn't order them because they told us they always read their orders back, which they did not. There was three of us in the car. Then I was told I would have to pay the up charge and I explained me having to drive back after waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through and then not placing the order correctly the way we ordered it ,and may not being able to eat my food for an hour after my original order I didn't feel I should pay the $1.50 up charge on their mess up. I was treated with disrespect and rudeness and told that was the only option. So instead they said they would remake all our food, but I still had to pay the 1.50 for all the inconvenience . They threw away $30.00 worth of food and made us wait again as they remade it. I didn't get her name but the girl with the blue hair who originally took our order wrong was giving annoyed looks and eyerolls while the other girl was replacing our order. We didn't get to eat our food for an hour and 20 minutes after we originally ordered it. so that will be my last time attending Farmer Boys in Yucaipa! Raising Cane's and In-N-Out from now on .. For breakfast or lunch I never have a problem here. But for dinner today was a completely different story. Guy working the drive thru kept me waiting at the speaker for several minutes. Then I had to repeat everything twice. Then got to the window and it still took him a while to even come and take my money. I get when the place is busy, but he was just walking around not doing anything, waiting for the next order to be done. Finally got my order and it was missing a burger. I told him about it, he said he would ask. He came back and asked if it was in the box. I said there are only 2 sandwiches in the box, he watched me look. He said the cook said he put it in there, are you sure its not in there? I said no! He said can I see the box? I said why would I hide a burger?! Look!!! Its not here! He said, oh, Ok give me a min. By this time I was mad and my other food was getting cold. Being accused of hiding food?! Really?! Then the manager came and asked what happened, I told her what happened and I was a little rude because I was upset. She fixed it all I and I got my missing food and I apologized to her. She was super nice!! But I don't see me going back for...

Just got back from here and ate our food. We got 3 Big Cheese Specials, which was a cheeseburger, 2 sides, and a drink. The ad showed this huge meal, it was anything BUT that. The food was all cold, my 2 sides were french fries and onion rings, my MIL sides were fried zucchini and onion rings, and my husband had chili cheese fries and onion rings, All the sides were EXTREMELY greasy and the coating on them was non existent, all the coating was in the bottom of the bags and we were left with greasy, soggy vegetables. As for the large side items in the add, the truth is, you only got 2 onion rings, and a 2 zucchini and a very small handful of fries, I'm talking, i had maybe 15 fries. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, the girl that waited on us was rude. The special was $5.99 and we got 3 and somehow, it ended up being almost $25 dollars. The receipt is extremely confusing and we can't tell where we got jipped. I will never go there again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Save your money and...
