If you plan to have a party here, don't, or make sure you go in-person and talk to the manager/owner. I called 3 times and emailed them, and the employees gave me misinformation, and almost ruined my birthday party by being hostile and blaming me for not knowing information when I CALLED!
I had a birthday party here a couple years ago where my friend's band performed outside on the patio. It was an easy process with planning and setting up the band.
I was hoping to do it again and have a birthday party here with music, so I called 2 weeks prior to the date and they said yes and put me on a party reservation list. I asked them a few times if I was able to have music outside, like plug in an amp and play guitar, and mentioned I've had a party there before, they said yes.
3 days before the party date, I called again to confirm my party reservation was still active. They said yes, that the owner would email me confirmation 24 hours before the date. I went and applied for a party RSVP on their site as an extra measure.
Then comes the day of the party. I hadn't received any emails or calls back, so I called them again, on my way to the party, and they said they had no record of me calling, that they don't do reservations at all and parties are on a "first come, first serve" basis. Now I got a little worried, so I asked if there's room on the patio for a party of 10 people, and they said yes, so I drove over. I found a place on the patio, and while I was setting up my guitar and amp to an outlet plug, an employee rushed outside and ordered me to stop, saying they don't allow amplified machines or music because they don't have the license/permit required. I told them I called 3 times and even emailed them and was told music was fine, and she said "I don't know who you spoke to, but you can't play music here, and we've never taken reservations." This almost ruined my birthday party because the whole reason I chose this place was so I could play music with my friends on the patio, and I was blamed for their employees not confirming with a manager/owner about the proper party information. It's not my fault as a customer that I don't know your policies, that's why I called and emailed.
I chose to put the instruments away and continue the party, because I already invited 10 people there and wanted to salvage what was left. I ordered party platters, the food was good. The employees were hostile towards us a couple times and we were given a warning they'd call the owner and have us leave. We were able to finish the party, though that whole day left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be back. If you plan a party here, don't, or make sure you go in-person and talk to a manager/owner, because otherwise you won't get the right information and will be treated like you're doing something wrong when you...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews,
I have eaten here 3 times and had a party catered at Laser Legacy by them. 3 out of 4 times were great, fast service and excellent appetizers and food ..the sidewinder/buffalo fries are great..why 3 stars? The last time we went was on a Saturday night and they were packed, we had a larger sized group so I didn't expect too much as far as food coming out quickly but from when the first dish arrived until the last dish it was about 40 minutes and several plates were cold, my fries I loved so much were cold and soggy. All understandable and forgivable given how busy they were, my fault for going at a busy time .
The Kicker was with my 5 year old daughter and a heartless waitress. My daughter put 2 quarter into a machine at her eye level to get a cheesy neckless she wanted and nothing came out ..waited 10 minutes in line to let the waitress/staff know that the machine was broken and if my daughter could get her money back. She rudely said, "there is a sign on it saying out of order, and it's owned by a 3rd party so they don't give refunds" inferring my daughter should have been able to read the sign. I said ok my daughter didn't see it and starts Crying because she lost her quarters.
I went over to the machine and there was a small hand written sign on a higher level 3 machines over . I was very upset
1st -don't have little trinket machines if your not going to take care of it .
2nd- don't cater to family and kids by having games etc and then not treat children with respect and normal courtesy as any human being deserves .
I get that this was likely an isolated incident but the young female waitress was so rude and such a bad example to my daughter it left a terrible taste in my mouth to the point I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone and especially not on a busy night. I didn't get her name and honestly I don't want to know. But if the staff isn't on the same page as far as how to treat patrons it makes the whole...
Read moreTheir food is pretty good. Take out is not their strong suit unless its a pizza and dont order breadsticks because your pizza gets cold while waiting ten minutes for them to cook. These aren't free like when eating in. You pay for takeout breadsticks. Three different times, they have left an item out of our larger order. I have always let it go. The one and ONLY time I called to let them know, she wouldn't let me speak. Then, she accused me of mistreating her, but I couldn't get a word in. She was too busy repeating the same things and defending that she wasn't the one that left out all my dressings for my large salad. I don't care who it was. Not much fun eating salad that's dry. No dressing for two orders of wings either. I double-checked when I picked up the food. She assured me she put several in a bag that she pointed to. Instead of offering my money back for my dry salad, she just ran over the top of me. Total disrespect. I asked to speak to a manager and twice she cut me off and said, he can't help you, he will tell you the same thing. Goodness, I hope not. I'm sure he would have at least let me speak and maybe refunded my dry salad. Enough already with take out from there. This was a group of my friends' first time eating there. It's my own fault to think it would have been any different. On a positive note, eating in is definitely...
