At first things started as a good expereince there but then turned into a horrible expereince. This was my first time going there and my last. The evening started good the food was good but things went down hill once the server took my sons plate away from him without asking if he was done with his plate which he wasn't. When the server took the plate we waved her down and told her we actually wanted to take the rest home with us she then told us okay. The plate was still in her hand. A couple of mintues went by and she brought over an empty to go container so I asked what happened to the plate of food she took away from my son because thats what we wanted to take because he was actually not done with it. She replied back with oh I didnt know but its already in a bucket with dirty dishes. I explained to her that I had told her we wanted to take it home because there was still a good amount of food left on the plate and it was the carne asada dinner plate. She then told me oh uh sorry i can give you a side of beans and rice and I told her my son does not eat beans that is why we asked for double the rice. She went and asked the manager what to do. A mintue or so passed then she came back with a to go container and told me oh the plate was right on top in the bucket so here it is and we gave you extra rice. So the server first tells me she placed the plate and food in a bucket with dirty dishes then comes back and hands me the same food. That is just plane out gross and not good service at all. I threw away the plate when I got home because I was not going to allow my son to eat that once it touched the dirty dishes. That's poor service I would have been fine with oh im sorry I do apologize we can take 15% off your order not bring me the food you already threw away in a bucket with other dirty dishes regardless whether it was on top or not that is just gross. So I will not be returning there and that is why I give them a 2 star...
Read moreUpon arrival I notice at the restaurant was very dark. There was no one there to greet you to seat you. We sat at the bar to have dinner and the bartender could not even make a Margarita for me. She also was having trouble mixing a blue vodka drink for someone. We then ordered supper and I ordered Carney asadah Ranchero as you notice on the picture it did not say anything about jalapenos. It was only supposed to be a warm salsa. I returned the food because it was unedible it was so hot. The manager came out after I complained that the bartender charge me for my meal that I did not eat. He stated that it should not be any hotter than the hot salsa we have been eating all evening with the chips. I told him that there was nothing on the menu showing that there were jalapenos in it. There were more jalapenos and actual steak in the whole dish. He then went on to blame me stating that most people ask for more at the salsa. I told him that jalapenos is not a warm salsa. He also stated that I should have returned it and asked for something else. I have informed him that I did return the dinner and I did not want anything else because nothing was even edible. He finally took the dish off our bill. Our bills still was over $30 for 3 tacos and 2 beers way too expensive not worth going. Bartenders service was awful we asked for more chips and she did not give them to us until after our meal. Speaking of meals they did not even know which table ordered what dinner and they tried to deliver enchilada to us and we had to tell them that was not...
Read moreThis place is a great stop to eat in the historic downtown area of Yuma. The place has a cool beachfront front vibe with great ambiance music in the background that's not too loud and allows you to converse easily at your dinner table. The dining room has good lighting and very clean. The tables and chairs are comfortable with assorted condiments at each one. We were greeted by our waitress Divine who was very pleasant to talk to and actively engaged in our conversation to give us a run down of the drinks and food on the menu. She promptly brought out our drinks and recommended the Chile con carne which was very good. Divine made sure we had a very good dining experience. There's plenty of items on the menu to choose from but not too cluttered. The menu was short and sweet, which means that what's on there is done very well. The plates, silverware and glasses were clean as well as our table. Our bartender Alli made a wonderful mango margarita that was delicious. The beer was cold and the vibe in the bar area was very inviting. We had the pleasure of meeting Bill the owner and he made sure we were well taken cared of. Even though the place was quickly filling with dinner guests he took the time to give us a rundown of the history of the building as well as the renovations made. His family has been in the restaurant business for years and the appearance, quality and freshness of the food at Eduardo's shows it. Wont be the last time we stop by but glad we did, truly a wonderful time of good food,...
