As a socal native trying mexican food outside socal I am a bit biased sp take my review with a grain of salt. The Food: first off the chips and salsa are fire. I could be happy with those alone. The beans were also top class. You might think those are basic but these are just better than alot of others even in socal. Portions are weird. Massive platters woth rice and beans with smaller main dish portions. The flavors were just ok on most items we had. The service: Friendly nice servers who are very busy running from table to table of the packed house. The place is very busy especially during lunch. Atmosphere: they are very dedicated to the ranch house motive but the odd seats and thick wooden tables are very clunky. Some of its nice but it feels very dated

We come to this restaurant at least once a month, we travel from AZ to SD we stop here for lunch ,we love this restaurant, food is really good, fast service staff is always very friendly, . But today 4/9/22, we received our chips and salsa, really good, the chips looked fresh, when we were almost done, I noticed this chip with beans on it! You can see it on the picture on the bottom, I felt very disappointed, and grossed out, I just could not believe it, our favorite restaurant do this? We came to the conclusion, they recycle the chips! I don’t know if I want to stop by this restaurant again, I didn’t say anything to the server, she offered us more chips, we just said no thank you, smh

Las Herraduras Mexican restaurant is Excellent, Delicious 😋 and Authentic Food very good with large servings of rice and beans. The salsa for the tortilla chips was just right, not to Hot 🔥 but not too mild. I wish that they would sell the salsa! It is a very peaceful and relaxed environment. The waitress was very sweet and kind. She was very attentive. Nice mellow Mexican music playing in the background. A lot of people are here, locals and travelers . It feels nice here. Come on over.... All people are welcome here. I Highly Recommend this Place 🙂

Use to love this place until the hostess stole my new Galaxy S8 plus phone. The night of the incidence we were the last customers to leave the resturaunt. I had sat my phone down on the counter while i paid for dinner. I walked out without grabbing. My daughter and I stood outside talking for about 5 minutes. When i got into my car I immediately realized I left my phone inside. I went back in to get it but it was gone. Hostess said she didnt see it. The waitress said it wasnt left at the table. I got a call from my son as we were leaving the table so I knew I hadnt left it at the table. The cook tried calling it but it had been turned off. I had just used my phone yet it was turned off. Waitress told me to come back tomorrow to talk to the manager. I should had called the police from there but I didnt. I went home tracked my phone. It was turned off but the last location was las herreduras. Went back next day. I was told it wasnt found. I then told the hostess "I believe last nights hostess took my phone." The hostess immediately got defensive and very upset with me. She said "huah, you souldnt say that, very harsh accusation. Its wrong to do that accusation. I will go get the manager to talk to you." Hostess came back and said "manager said to come back later and I can see video if I want to or call police if I think it was stolen." I was in total disbelief about the whole ordeal. I had insurance on the phone so i just chose to get a new one. Mainly because i had dropped the phone 2nd day after having it so thought screw it I will get a new one. After all this, about a month later my family and I went back to eat at this resturaunt. This visit is what did it for me. The waitress for the table we were sat at was the same waitress we had the night my phone disappeared. She wouldnt wait on us. She had another waitress wait on us. Throughout our lunch we noticed the staff in a little bunch talking and looking over a us. Seriously? I couldnt believe the treatment we received at this place. I had let the incidence go but apparently they felt I did something wrong to them. If my phone wasnt taken then it would had been found. I had just used it and didnt go further than 10ft away from where i last used it. We were the last customers there. My $900 phone was taken by their employee and so they shun me off. The manager does a very sorry job. The food was losing its flavor anyways. It wasnt the same as when they first opened. I will never go back into this...

Thursday, 5pm, ordered to go for 2 people. Husband ordered Macho dinner, which is combo #1. I ordered #10, chile relleno dinner, sauce on the side. They said 15 minutes, and it was. Brought home huge, heavy sack. All food prepared as ordered. Included 1 small salsa, 1 big salsa, but no chips, which was ok, but I can't vouch for good or bad chips, lol. Both salsas awesome with food. #1 dinner: excellent taco, fresh and crispy; excellent chile relleno, no heat in chile but flavorful and fresh, excellent cheese; enchilada=awesome texture, corn tortilla totes authentica; machaca tamale=total confusion, dried up, no moisture, delish sauce but why was it removed from husk to dry up? Shrugs, who cares, saved it for next day and steamed up in wet paper towel, covered in salsa was great leftovers. #10 chile relleno sauce on side was heaven in a styrofoam box, there were 2 and if there was more I'd have eaten myself sick. I LOVED them. I would marry them. Seriously, cheeseloving dreams with warm sauce, super delish. Both of us had beans and rice, generous servings, authentic refried beans were incredible. Rice was fresh and cooked perfectly. No complaints on price, service or food. Inside for pickup the accordion music and atmosphere were colorful and we saw both families and couples; we had an efficient checkout with masked employees, some customers were masked, some not, we didn't care but wanted to mention for your consideration. Highly recommend, esp for Tucson transplants that enjoy Sonoran/NewMex...

We sat down to eat and waited around 10ish minutes for someone to come & get our drink order, keep in mind it was 4pm & we were the ONLY people on the place. Chips & Salsa was served, chips were super stale, the salsa was good though. Ordered a Strawberry Margarita, and instead of it coming out like normal she brought my glass on a plate because I’m assuming she made too much & didn’t want waste any, which would’ve been fine w me but my glass was super sticky & all of it went onto the plate which spilled some onto the table.. Just a sticky mess. The food was good. Not amazing, not bad. While eating our waitress, the host, and another lady who I assumed is normally a worker there or a friend of the waitresses, all sat at a table and ate & talked super loud. They eventually started talking about us, which I assumed they thought we couldn’t hear them, but it made it super uncomfortable. Another worker randomly took her shirt off to change into a tank top which was probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen while eating out...

All in all - the food was decent, there’s definitely better around, the service was awful, and it was the weirdest restaurant experience I’ve ever...
