Hungry on a Monday evening - I decided to visit Wienerschnitzel on 4th Avenue in Yuma, Arizona. Visiting from central Florida, I have never eaten at the chain.
Short line at the drive-thru, I ordered an Angus beef chili cheese dog at the promotional price of $1.99, a Chicago Dog at $2.09, and a Corn Dog at $1.59.
Staff were friendly and polite. With only one vehicle in front of me, the wait was minimal.
Reviewing the receipt upon return to my hotel, I found that the Angus beef chili cheese dog was rung up at $2.99 versus the $1.99 I was told at drive-thru. The hot dog itself was overcooked and had very little chili on it. The cheese portion was fine.
Chicago Dog wasn't bad - very tasty. Corn Dog was average and tasted better with the provided mustard.
Bag contained napkins and mustard. No issue with the provided condiments.
I would have rated Wienerschnitzel 3 stars, but they lose one for overcharging on the overcooked Angus beef chili cheese dog.

Read moreIt's been here forever and as an adult I find myself gravitating to this place and eating outside. I usually don't like eating outside but for some reason it's not bad here. The food is expected of wienersnitzels, the Pepsi mix is correct I'd say. For fast food it's got a good spot for location. Its setup is similar to Rally's where you can just go thru drive through, or a window to order and eat outside. Can't say anything wrong really. It's one of those places where you can eat and fills you up just right but doesn't make you feel sloth like after. You can still move freely and yet feel full. Over the years they haven't had too many modernizations. Not that it needs them, but it sure hasn't change much since I was 5 years old. If they were to modernize more I would suggest having some sort of public restroom. As far as I know, there isn't one. Overall quick and easy pick...
Read moreExtremely disappointed. The food was subpar, not exactly cold but even slightly warm would be a stretch. Asked the employee at the window for ranch dressing, tarter sauce and she said everything was in the bag. We had a 3 hour drive to Phoenix and about 45 mins behind schedule so when the passengers started to dig into the long awaited and anticipated tradition, and found not even a single napkin in site. No condiments what so ever, not only did we ask but we we were told it's all in the bag. We had no choice but to exit the interstate and return to the establishment. While waiting in line we had called and advised whomever answered the phone that we needed everything for our extensive order, an employee shortly came to our vehicle with a bag of condiments napkins and yes, even a straw. The saddest part of this experience not only wasn't an apology given, it was like it...
