Community Restaurant — Restaurant in Zeeland

For the reopening of community restaurant, I have to say, the esthetic for the restaurant is beautiful. Looks great now. I ordered a meat lovers omelet. I also ordered 2 blueberry pancakes and a large orange juice. To start off with the omelet was deli. Kiss, I would just say that. They could have diced up the bacon a little more. But that's just me. The blueberry pancakes were delicious, just a little overcooked. The orange juice was really good. It reminds me of freshly squeezed orange juice. All in all, great restaurant. Great server, lovely woman, very nice. I highly recommend checking this place out. This was a great place when I was growing up to eat. And this is still a great place to go and eat help them out as much as you can. And eat there because they did have a fire a couple of years ago, and it would help them greatly. I imagine....

My family frequented Community Restaurant when I was a child. Even though I never left the area, I never went to Community on my own as an adult. My wife and I recently decided to reminisce our childhood by having a meal there. I must say it was good. I forgot how good their home made soups are. They also make their Pies from scratch. Not all of their foods are from scratch, but there is a fair amount on their menu that is. Community is not a place you go for a special meal or a nice meal out for a better than regular occasion. Yesterday was my first time going there and needless to say I was very disappointed. My mom's chili was cold and had no flavor and that's after she had to wait for another 7 minutes for her to actually receive her chili after my daughter and I were served our food. My daughter who absolutely loves peaches says that they tasted funny and didn't want anymore. My buffalo chicken wrap was more tomato than anything else. Needless to say I probably will not be coming back anytime soon which is disappointing since my daughter loves going there.
