Sunrise Eatery — Restaurant in Zephyrhills

Weeeeeeeelllll, ssssssooooooo What an absolutely cute place, so impressed when we walked in, looks just like what u want small country town places to look like & husband & I were so hungry. All these cute painted signs of "homemade" this & "homemade" that. Not sure what the place is known for but I want to stress I didn't get a "homemade" taste from the beef vegetables soup, so not sure if the other choices of soup would have been better or maybe actually homemade. My husband got the Spaghetti with meatballs, again not sure if the meatballs were frozen but he did say he like the sauce. He did say some of the meatballs were not as fresh, like they were from yesterday. Pepsi products, so I get Sweet Tea, it was very good. Also, we both had a dessert because it is also known for having ice cream cones & hand spun milkshakes, the ice cream scoop I had was called Road Runner Raspberry, it was white chocolate with Raspberry syrup type swirled in the ice cream & had dark chocolate drops with a raspberry liquid in the drop, kind of like the liquid from a chocolate covered cherry best I could describe it, but before I could finish reading description to husband my cheeks were already salivating & this small little scoop I did get, didn't not let me down in flavor👍, glad we tried this place & looking around the burgers were so so big, & it seemed like they were very popular, the atmosphere was very sweet there was a mixture of young crowd & working crowd & seniors that were just absolutely too cute sharing ice cream & looked like so happy to be there together. Outside dining & it accommodates animals out on the patio type area,& there is a selfie pic area, another great idea but there were so many great murals painted on walls & some art work on the ceiling. Oh, yeah almost forgot even though I didn't get a full meal but both of us got dessert our bill was under $40.00 without tip...

1st time going here by recommendation from a friend. We went on 4th of July just after the lunch rush around 1:30. It was about 75% capacity at that time. Plenty of waitresses. Our waitress ( Mariana) was ok. The food came out fairly quick. The portions were decent ( slaw, rice, fries, size of shake), and the tastes was top notch. I had the BBQ bacon pineapple burger with fries and a pineapple shake. Definitely a real burger( not pre processed made patties), and the BBQ bacon and pineapple was a delicious change. The Greek salad was also delicious, as was the coleslaw. Nice facility with cool atmosphere. Overall we were very impressed, and will definitely return, and recommend to everyone we know near enough to go there. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because we ordered a large Greek salad to go, and was very disappointed when we got home and found they only gave us one tiny little scoop of potato salad on top. The small salad has one scoop. The large salad should have 2 scoops being that it is twice the size and price. Would I recommend sunrise eatery? Definitely! This is a 5 star restaurant in the mist of tons of mediocre ones.

Ok, so my second visit they lost a star. I ordered the same burger and slaw. Barely any pineapple on the burger. The slaw seemed old like it's been sitting all day open. I ordered the a caramel shake. Literally a tiny TINY smidgen of caramel in it. It might as well been a vanilla shake. Very disappointed 😞 Apparently there is no consistency to this restaurant. My brother was happy with his spaghetti at least. Will we come back? Maybe, but gonna be a long time from now. Think I'll stick with sonny's BBQ where the...

I was recommend previously 100% for food and Services but today was the worst Service since been visiting 4 times before... Fathers day 9:20 AM Stop by eat a Delicious Breakfast as was before... The Parking Lot wasn't that busy... We decide to eat outside of the restaurant, The server was really I guest not really happy be there... Water taste was filling from the faucet. I ask for home fries, they deliver hashbrown... Coffee was serve good, but waiting for my order, was almost empty, server offer refill of COFFEE, bring our food, I was waiting 15-18 mins for Coffee and Soda Refill, never show up. I seen her walk to the other couple was on the side table... I see that lady was waiting for the server bring herself Creamer and Sugar, the coffee was already on their table but the server never deliver the Sugar and Creamer to that table, at the same time Im still waiting for my refill, never get it... Only I see from the server when Walk away from that couple says... "Whatever" ..... The meal of my partner was Gravy biscuit... texture was raw flour taste. wasn't cook complete... i understand that restaurant was busy, but others days was super busy and services always been amazing... I can see the Manager who always there wasn't at the time when we eat today this morning.... Manager on Duty used as excuse was because Fathers Day.... Like I say that restaurant at the time we eat there, wasn't like that busy time we visit previous before. I hope this get better next time If...
