Iskender Kebap — Restaurant in Tashkent

Nice place… staff is very warm. But they don’t understand the customer neither do they have the time. Severe language barrier. Nothing for vegetarians except soup . Whenever I ate food I had to order soup. In Istanbul all restaurants serve lavish portions breads and pickle with soup… but not here in UZ. Pide pizza wasn’t upto my liking too. Served with honey ! Maybe a Turkish style… my issue with most of the food in Central Asia , Turkey , Lebanese , Egyptian is that it’s alllllllllll DRyyyyy… there is no concept of gravy’s … that way indian and Chinese food take the cake ! They dip dry bread in tea ! And consume it :/...

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. The menus options are an excellent value. The place was clean and smelled good. There have outdoor seating area as well.
