Mado Cafe — Restaurant in Tashkent

THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER! Yesterday we went to Mando, and it was by far the worst service I have ever seen. First, a waitress gave us menus and then we waited 30 minutes before anyone even bothered to take our order. After they finally did, we waited another 1.5 hours, only for a waiter to come up and ask: “So, would you like to order something?” 🤦‍♂️ We told him we had already ordered, he said “I’ll check” — and then disappeared. A few minutes later, the same waiter happily welcomed new guests, gave them menus, and looked at us like we were invisible. We got so frustrated that we left, and on the way out, that same waiter had the nerve to say: “Welcome!” Absolutely ridiculous.

The next day we decided to give it another try, thinking maybe it was just bad luck. This time there were three of us. Result: we sat there for 2 hours, right in front of the waiters, and no one even came to take our order. We were shocked. We even asked for the manager, but he simply refused to come out.

Professionalism — 0, Service — 0, Friendliness — 0, Everything — 0. I have been to so many restaurants in different countries, but I have never seen anything this bad. In normal places, they apologize immediately for mistakes. Here — nothing but indifference and arrogance.

The food and drinks don't match the description in the menu. We ordered Turkish tea, in me u there are 2 options- cap and glass and it comes with cookies. We were served in cups and without cookies. Than we ordered bored with minced meat, which supposed again to come with tzatziki, which a yogurt dip. Bored came without any dip and after my request some red sauce came few minutes later. Disappointing service at Mado in Tashkent city mall. On my first visit, the manager made inappropriate comments, and staff ignored our complaint. Said they couldn’t do anything as he was a boss. It’s not professional. On my second visit, the hostess acted like a waiter and took our order, but after waiting 30+ minutes we were told no order was placed. When we tried to reorder, the dessert we had clearly seen (3 portions available) was already gone. The cashier and hostess were rude and careless instead of helping.
