TanukiFamily — Restaurant in Tashkent

Smack right at the entrance of the Tashkent City Mall, sits Tanuki. Here they serve their version of Japanese cuisine and try their best to replicate it. The staff are young, quick and friendly. Catchy music liven up the already funky decor. It’s cozy, smart and a little plush. Trendy is a word they are aiming for. Alcohol is available with wine prices a little on the high side of the scale. Server John took care of our table and he’s very courteous. Our meal arrived in a heartbeat. Beef Ramen and a huge mix set called… Arigato! Why not? The Beef in the ramen was tasty but the broth could be jazzed up further. Some additional garnish would really add to the flavour. As for the huge mix set platter,it was tasty enough. Terrible terrible experience. Never going here again and highly do not recommend visiting. The food was actually nice but ruined by the horrible girls and boys working here. No smiles, no kindness. I let the main blonde girl working in the front know it was terrible service and she gave such bad attitude back instead of apologising. We waiting for so long for food, waited for so long for water. So stuck up, been to so many Asian style restaurants all around the world but not sure why the service here is so cocky and terrible!...

(English below) Вкусно и приятная атмосфера. В роллах ощущалась вся гамма вкусов как будто на разных уровнях. Сразу чувствуется,что не просто завернули ингридиенты в рис! Десертные роллы были нежными и в меру сладкими. Блюда подаются красиво. Вкусные напитки. Брала алк коктейль с маракуей - сок маракуийи был свежевыжатый и натуральный , были даже семена. Коктейль качественный, алкоголь чувствовался. Выбор напитков огромный, как и алкогольных ,так и без. Приятным бонусом был тортик в подарок ( у меня был день рождения) , свечка и поздравления. Персонал очень внимательный и приятный! В меню есть кальяны. Атмосфера заведения очень уютная, "интимная", приятный неяркий свет, интерьер выглядит дорого и не вычурно. Хороший ужин обойдётся вам 50-60$ на двоих. Ну тут ,наверное, все индивидуально. Но ,к примеру, сет 6 шт роллов от 65 до 100 тысяч.Напитки также. Rolls didn't seem "empty", they had full range of taste. Pleasant , rich and stylish interior, cozy intimate lighting. Friendly stuff. I had Birthday and they gave me a piece of cake, put a candle in my dessert rolls and sung a song! My alcohol coctail was great and it had fresh passionfruit juice. Prices might seem high , ~50-60$ for two , but it's worth it. For such kind of restaurant it's okay, in my opinion. I'll definitely...
