A high-end restaurant with a very nice environment. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, I had to remind then a number of times when I asked for the sauce, from one staff to another. I waited for about 10 minutes or more. One thing I don’t understand with all restaurants in Uzbek is they never tell you if sauce/chilies are charged. But that is still okay because all these while, the charge was mostly 5000 som or less. To my surprise Nika charged me 25,000 som for some sauce. I think this is too much it is a daylight robbery!
Even restaurants at hotels don’t charge this much for a bit of sauce! I definitely won’t go again because I felt mistreated.
Extended (after the team replied) Having a manager doesn’t change the fact that NIKA overcharges customers for some Sriracha sauce. You still OVERCHARGE and do not display this in the menu!
It’s such a classic way of insincere apology. Thanks...

However, the service quality was a major downside. It was extremely slow, and the staff seemed overburdened, struggling to assist us properly. Nothing arrived on time—not even basic things like napkins. Another issue was the plate-smashing activity, which took place right next to our table. While it was entertaining at first, it quickly became overwhelming. There should be a designated area for this, as not everyone wants to be part of it.
Overall, while the food and ambiance were great, the service and organization need...
Read moreOverprices like many places in Tashkent, but we usually would expect outstanding food and service. Yet, this venue fails to deliver both! The food was okish-mediocre and the service was very bad. We had to search for our waiter constantly and when asked other waiters they were not willing to help but rather offered to search for our waiter.
While the decor is nice, if the food and service are not to par it is just not worth to visit as we can find many better places in Tashkent.
Finally, I see in responses from the venue they have managers who come and ask for feedback - that is not true as no manager came to ask for feedback that we would’ve gladly provided despite spending there more than 100 euros for 2.
Not coming back or...
