Swissôtel Tashkent — Hotel in Tashkent

We have stayed 4 days 3 nights in this amazing hotel. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels- chain and boutique- and this stands out as one of the best, I would 100% recommend!!||The locataion- great, short walk to Amir Temur square, The Broadway, and it is right opposite a cool food hall for quick tasty bites. Lots of local coffee shops nearby in the buzzing neighbourhood.||The building- luxurious, clean and comfortable. The interior and furniture is well designed and modern classic. It is only a few weeks old but even so, the space is thoughtfully filled and maintained to a high level.|
Amenities- |1. The swimming pool and spa is gorgeously done. There are private hamams in the male and female changing rooms, but also a shared one just off the pool and jacuzzi area. The spaces are clean, thought out, and have an abundance of lovely toiletries.|2. The gym is clean, spacious and well equipped. |3. The executive lounge is spacious yet feels cosy, the food and drink is varied and has a great selection without being too much. There are wonderful local wines and beers, and the staff are very attentive and hospitable. The glassware is elegant which elevates the drinking experience (iykyk), and the great curated playlist adds an enjoyable experience. |4. The wifi is great throughout the building including the underground spa.||The breakfast- great selection of hot and cold, sweet and savoury, healthy and indulgent food- as you would expect from a hotel such as this. The restaurant is airy, spacious and clean and there is a great option to sit outside in the conservatory.||The rooms- We were so lucky to be upgraded to a suite and it was such a wonderful gesture. |The king room we initially had was luxurious, indulgent, spacious and well equipped. |The suite consisted of 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms and was ample for the two of us and delivered the level of luxury we had become accustomed to throughout the building.||The staff- aaaaabsolutely fantastic and definitely the highlight of our stay. Everyone was so professional, friendly and welcoming. Every staff member was extremely personable and took the time to get to know us throughout our time in the hotel, and made such efforts to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
They were all very attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely are all an asset to the ALL Accor brand.
They make what could feel like a large faceless chain hotel a very personal, bespoke and special experience. ||Special mention to exceptional members who really positively impacted our stay:|- Service staff Omadbek, Dilnoza and Amaliya (executive lounge and restaurant)- so helpful, professional and courteous|- Yakub the doorman- so knowledgable about the local area, attentive and kind|- Sardor the manager- so friendly, a great conversationalist and a wonderful host|- Front of house Aziz, Abdulaziz and Ramazon. So professional, accommodating, helpful. Ramazon went above and beyond when checking us in to provide us with the most wonderful extras to make our special occasion stay completely perfect. He was so thoughtful in all his gestures and luxurious add on's he was able to provide for our stay. The effort he went to hugely impacted our experience, and is something we will remember forever.| Abdulaziz was so understanding and made the check out experience completely stress free and was so accommodating for our late checkout and logistics of our 2:30 am flight.|||All the staff we had the pleasure of meeting were faultless, and it is obvious this is a curated cohesive team with excellent communication and training that works well to deliver a truly memorable and exceptional hotel stay. The facility is brand-new and comfortable, but we found some issues to be improved.

1. Bedside light switches didn't work appropriately. Although I pressed them, lights didn't turn on/off.
2. Coffee machine and electric kettle cannot be used at the same time. When we wanted to use coffee machine, it didn't work. Then, I called to the reception to call technician. And he said that only one plug is installed on the wall, so if we want to use the coffee machine, we cannot use the kettle instead. We couldn't believe that 5 star hotel has such a poor facility.
3. a lot of fluffy dusts on the carpet. Surprisingly, we found a lot of fluffy dusts on the carpet by the bed. They were 2-3cm each. We enjoyed sauna and gym. The facility itself was new and beautiful, so we enjoyed our stay. However, some points should be improved for more...
