A friend told me about this place and I was super excited because I'm still in search of a great Wonton!

I saw that they had it on the menu so i was super excited! Also, I had been craving a good roasted Duck!

From the photos, we thought we were gonna be for a treat!

Boy, were we in for a complete letdown and disappointment! The wontons have absolutely NO flavor! I ordered Mi Wonton dried and my husband ordered same but with broth.

Boooooo!! 😖🫣🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm so sad! I wanted to love it so much!

We also ordered a half roasted duck! It came out looking great, freshly roasted! However, that was really the only thing that it had besides the skin being crispy. This duck tasted like all of all joy being taking away! I was anticipating the fat and juicy 🦆 making my fingers all greasy with the delicious goodness of what the epitome of duck is, fat AND juicy!

It was the complete opposite!

It's as if they took the duck and put it on Keto! Why would you make a lean duck? I mean, it's like taking out the joy and replacing it with sadness and serving it on a platter. Uncle Roger would say, SO SAD! SO SAD to the duck as I did!

I was utterly disappointed because I was so looking for forward to eating here.

Service was good, the employees were friendly.

The food is very worth eating. I feel like a local. I was lucky that the store owner is able to speak cantonese - explains why the food is somewhat close to Cantonese cuisine. I didn't like much of the clay pot rice but the roast duck is not bad. I would have just ordered half duck. The menu was quite expensive for Labour worker class prople in Vietnam (2,5$ per meal in average), but the food was superb, not to mention the quality of the food, the taste of the soup water was Umami-Sweetened and leave a great after tase, the noodle was softened to finest quality(though i guess there weren't much differences), the chicken meat were made to be suitable with any kind of people, both for the crispy duck meat and tenderized duck.
