HATSIM - Nut Milk & Plant-Based Drinks - 72 Chi Lăng — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

I've eaten at vegan restaurants in dozens of countries, but have never found a place like Hatsim, which serves several dozen varities of drinks based on nut milk, coffee, tea, and juice. I've sampled most of the menu and while it's all delicious the standouts are the iced cashew milk salted cream coffee and the weird-sounding-but-totally delicious pineapple leaf cashew green bean milk (with black tapioca cubes!). All their drinks are non-dairy and vegan. When ordering coffee or tea-based drinks, you can have them omit the sugar although the nutmilk mixers are pre-sweetened.

The restaurant is owned by a twenty-something Vietnamese couple, both of whom speak pretty good English and are SO nice. They've got little chairs and tables in front if you want to sit down, or you can order to go. If you get your order to stay, you can request it in a glass rather than a plastic cup. No doubt because of the quality of their offerings, they do loads of business—mostly from Grab delivery. Super cheap and super healthy. I spent a few weeks living up the street and I found myself here at least...

After ordering delicious, irresistible, mind-blowing vegan drinks on Grab twice a day, we had to go in/person to meet the brilliant couple behind this business, ✨Nhi and Binh.✨

To find a place with so many creative, delicious options for both caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks…for someone allergic to milk, it was heavenly. Never have I had a vegan salt cream or such a delicious, vegan jelly and boba.

I've eaten at vegan places in many countries - Hatsim is outstanding. Nut milks, coffees, teas...we ordered as much of the menu as we could in our five days in Da Nang.

We are considering returning to Da Nang for another holiday just to have access to Hatsim. ♥️🙏

If only other ethical businesses would partner with them to learn how to make great dairy-free offerings!

I was so pleased to come across Hatsim on Google maps whilst we were in the area, we made a quick 5 minute walk across from GO! I was impressed with my drink, being vegan and finding these drinks made it a lovely break from just black coffees all the time, as I got the cashew salted cream coffee and absolutely loved it! The server spoke really good English and were very friendly and polite. I also found that the pricing was so much better value here than many other coffee places we have been to. Highly recommend to all and would love to savour these drinks...
