HiRu Sushi — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

The chef made our experience very enjoyable and worth it. The food was fresh and deliciously made and presented with utmost dedication to every detail.

We were very happy with that.

The waitresses were unfortunately the opposite of the chefs, and kind of ruined the experience with their very lousy service and lack of attention to or knowledge of basic wait service.

Due to that, we discussed in detail and agreed it would not be fair or acceptable to give more than three stars.

We are paying upwards of 1.5mil dong per person at this establishment for dinner. The waitress service standard cannot be below or on par with other dinner places where we pay 25K VND per person.

Some level of professionalism and attention to detail is expected.

The background music was not fitting with the vibe, but I guess that’s subjective.

Overall, we would not come again, not at these prices with that level of service.

Best sushi in Da Nang. Went there with my family for dinner with high hopes and they did not disappoint. We eat sushi a lot back home and not to be snotty but know the difference between the fishes and what it should taste like. We ordered 2 california rolls for my 5 year old and 2 year old and told them not to put anything raw in or on it since it came with fish eggs on top and raw salmon inside. They removed the eggs but the raw salmon was still inside. I said it's ok I can just take it out but they insisted to remake both rolls. They came back beautifully done with cooked salmon inside and I really appreciate that. My kids loved it. Nigiris were excellent with the different types of fishes they provided. My husband and I had such an incredible experience at HiRu Sushi that we came back three times in one week! Each visit, we sat at the bar and were met with exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and the freshest seafood. The engawa with monkfish liver is a crowd favorite, and I am definitely a fan.

Unfortunately, we weren’t feeling well enough to fully enjoy the beer or sake, but that just gives us another reason to return and make up for lost time. By our third visit, the team felt like family. A must-visit for anyone looking to experience an authentic taste of Japan in Vietnam.
