Bella Cellar — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Came here after the relatively good reviews on Google Maps. Totally regret it. First, amongst another group of 4 I was the only one. Second, the Interior is Christmas themed (in October?!). Guess, it’s the same Interior all year round. It was super dark in there anyways. Then, the waitress were super annoying. The were constantly looking at me as they’ve never seen a white guy before. Most important, the food! I wanted to order a pizza but they said it would take 45 minutes! In an Italian Restaurant which is known for pizza. Apparently the oven was not hot. Quiet two level restaurant tucked away. Pleasant decor. Good range of Italian and vietnamese dishes on a menu in vietnamese and English. We had an excellent chicken and mushroom soup that was halfway to a stew as it was full of meat and veges. The two of us shared a good sized pizza with plenty of cheese and toppings. However we had to wait about 45 minutes for it. Other patrons were served a lot quicker and it was not busy. Maybe they had to make the dough from scratch. Waitresses did not speak much English...

I had a Bún Bò and a coffee there, recommended by my cousin. The look from outside is very nice, the place is spacy. However, I think there are many things should be adjusted for a more modern standard coffee shop: 1/ the furniture are not well washed and clean look; 2/ no area for non smoking, even in house; 3/ no Coffee machines to make coffee direct from just coffee beans and it is a bit smelly inside of the old wooden or fabric...
