bake&burnt — Restaurant in Hà Nội

came here yesterday with a friend and we ordered a tea set with 3 cakes of choice. the drink and treats were okay and the staffs were lovely too. however, one minus point that i hope the owners can improve in the future is the noise of equipments from the kitchen.

we were sitting in front of the kitchen on the 2nd floor and it seems like it was intended for it to be an open kitchen so that the customers could have a look inside or smell the freshly baked cakes. however, both my table and the other guests sitting next to us were constantly interrupted by the sounds of the mixers inside the kitchen, and since the space was quite small, it even echoed back to the whole area and made it even more noisy than it was. it was only 5-6 in the afternoon so perhaps the staff can consider changing the prepping hour? or doing something to sound proof...

Great cafe with decent coffee! I personally loved sitting here in the quiet atmosphere and getting some work done on my laptop.

The location is a bit tricky to find because it's inside an alley. The best part I like about this cafe is they don't allow pets (I like animals but I don't want a random pet nibbling on my toes when I just want to enjoy my coffee and work for a bit)

From the menu, I liked the dark chocolate brownie and the Americano. I tried the caramel macchiato but it wasn't really as per my expectation.

I found this café with great desserts while browsing Google Maps near my house. The place has a warm and cozy vibe, but it’s quite small.
