IKKA - Wagyu Yakiniku — Restaurant in Hà Nội

I recently visited Ikka Yakiniku and had an absolutely fantastic experience. As a big fan of yakiniku (Japanese-style grilled meats), I was excited to try their wagyu beef offerings, and they did not disappoint.

The star of the show was the Miyazaki wagyu beef. Each bite of this oily, rich sensation was incredibly tender and just melted in my mouth. The flavors were incredibly decadent and bursting with beefy umami. They offer several premium cuts of the Miyazaki wagyu, including ribeye, chuck, and short rib, all expertly cooked by the attentive staff right at our table.

But even the American beef they offered was of excellent quality. The cuts had great marbling and tenderness, providing a delicious grilled meat experience as well.

The salad and miso soup were also great side dishes that paired wonderfully with the grilled meats. The fresh greens and light, savory broth helped balance out the richness of the Miyazaki wagyu.

What really impressed me, though, was the great value. I was expecting the wagyu to be quite expensive, but for two people, the full course yakiniku meal with the Miyazaki wagyu, American beef, vegetables, rice, salad, miso soup, and sides only cost around $70 total. This is an excellent price considering the high quality and flavor of the meats.

The service was also top-notch. The staff was extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to provide recommendations and cook the meat to perfection for us. They made the whole dining experience very enjoyable.

Amazing food, excellent service and friendly staff.

You can choose for them to cook for you, and they do it extremely well. Seemed like they were waiting for me to finish some of what they cooked first before they continued cooking the next cut. Every piece of meat I had was still warm/hot, I really appreciate that attention to detail since I'm a slow eater haha.
