The (fake) blond staff Jan 23rd (yesterday) treated me in a way I have never seen in 4 months of Vietnam. She spoke to me in a way full disdain, condescendant look, unhappy angry face. Really obnoxious in her way to answer simple questions or not even able to answer correctly. Not apologizing at any steps of her own mistakes. As if it was not enough, she tried to take my glass of water without my permission while I was still enjoying my time like if I had to get away from here. It was extremely insulting. This girl feels really entitled to treat in the worse ways I have ever seen in this lovely country. The shop only had 1 couple and me left 9:20 PM. The shop is supposed to close at 10 PM and I barely spent 20 min there. Crazyyyy place. Will never come back. The owner / manager should really check what is going on there before this place collects 1/5. Sometimes no staff is better than bad staff or the reputation will be permanently affected. Why having 2 staff for an empty place like that anyway ? Regarding the food I tried the chocolate truffle that was overly sweet as you can expect and l'éclair caramel was really small and tasteless and really overpriced. Taste from frozen. I just say that as a French dude. The lighting is really aggressive from led spots all over the place but seats are cozy and the...
Read moreWas excited about this opening nearer to my home as I am a huge fan of the one near hoem kien Lake. First impressions, nice little seating area outside with plants, can't say I wanted to sit outside with the heat and how horribly just that road is. Sat down and asked for a menu, only to be told it was at the till, they have one copy taped to the till counter, so you have to wait for any paying customers to finish before you can see the menu We ordered two chicken sandwiches, a coffee, and a peach smoothie. The smoothie was delicious, so refreshing. The chicken sandwiches, although packed with chicken, were so dry. There was a thin slither of mustard and pickles at the bottom, you could see neither edge of the sandwich had any sauce, so it was incredibly dry and difficult to eat, I had to go to the counter and use some of their chili sauce to make it more moist The most off-putting part of the place, though, was what I assumed was the shops dog. It was just left to wander round, it sat at our feet looking for food, and when it licked my feet, we got up and left. I am not against shop pets, but keep them under control and make sure they don't...
Read moreThe online photos of this bakery are stunning, showcasing a wide variety of beautiful pastries and baked goods. However, my experience didn’t match those expectations. I visited on a Thursday at 3 PM, hoping to pick up an assortment of 50 pastries for a going-away party. When I arrived, the display case had only about 20 items available—not the impressive selection shown online.
I asked if they had any cupcakes, and without a smile or any effort to offer alternatives, the staff member simply said no. There was no attempt to engage, recommend something else, or provide any customer service. Given that I walked a mile to visit, it was a disappointing experience.
If you’re looking for a bakery with a guaranteed selection and welcoming service, I’d suggest finding one closer to home. The photos may have been taken for promotional purposes, but the reality didn’t...
