Noi Bai Airport Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

Our flight into Hanoi was delayed which meant we missed our connection to Siem Reap and had to find a hotel close by for one night and chose the Non Bai due to its proximity.||Getting a taxi was difficult as the hotel is very close but too far to walk with our heavy luggage, eventually a driver agreed to take us but we were charged 200,000 dong which is far higher than normal rates but we needed to get to the hotel so be warned.||The check in was fine and although there were language barriers it was efficient and fast and we were shown our room.||The room was very, very basic but it was clean, the real difficulty we had was that the condensing pipe from the air conditioning unit lead straight into the bathroom floor with no drain. As we needed to use the air conditioning this resulted in the bathroom floor getting really wet and very slippy.||Our return to the airport in the morning was far easier as the hotel have their own transportation costing 70,000 dong.||Overall you would not want to spend more than one night at this hotel but it does what is says on the tin and it...

I stayed here 1 night before going to airport on the next day. My flight from Korea to Hanoi and it was rather late when I arrived the airport. It's very difficult for me to catch taxi from airport to this hotel. All drivers refused to go because of short distance. Finally one driver accepted to drive me there and I paid 50000 dong (about 2,5$). My room is quite big including air conditioning, TV, towels (but not so clean). The bathroom is very humid. At night, other room nearby was very very noisy. I guess they arrived late but they talked and laughed so loud. Impossible for me to sleep. Next day, I paid 50000 dong to go to airport by hotel taxi service. 20 bucks total. I think it is not so bad if you just look for a place to stay in...

This would have been a 3-star instead of 4 if not for the lady being very service-oriented.

The biggest knock is the lack of hot water. I turned the water one way and then the other for minutes trying to get a hot shower, none came.

Since this was just a convenient place to get to the airport early in the morning, that shower could wait until my next destination.

When I was looking for a place to spend the last night in Hanoi area, this place popped up because of its proximity to the airport and, from the map, it looked like lots of options for dinner...

Well, it was a definitely quick drive to the airport, but really no good places to eat to speak of.
