Absolute worst restaurant in Hanoi! We used to got there all the time, and we didn't go for a while cause we always felt disappointed when we went there. So we tried it this evening, just to give them a go again and well we were incredibly disappointed again.

I ordered a pad kra pow beef, because the picture looked pretty good and I love eating pad kra pow normally, and when the food arrived at the table, there was the tiniest portion of little beef cubes, and frozen vegetables which is nothing even close to a pad kra pow! There was no chilli, no garlic and no basil in the dish which was promised in the write up in the menu! In fact it wasn't even close to any thai food I have ever seen.

This place is absolutely pathetic! Really disappointing experience once again, I will never go back there again! I'm better off cooking it at home.

Just stay away if you want to avoid any disappointment, because what you see in the menu is not what will arrive...

Great. We visited as a family for dinner and as a couple for lunch. The location is just a couple of minutes stroll from Hanoi Rock City and other expat haunts. It over looks a small lake adjacent to West Lake. The views from the back are very nice.

Inside there is a front dining room which fronts the road while the back room overlooks the lake. The decor is natural and tidy. The menu is full of the famous Thai dishes one might expect from a simple and unpretentious restaurant. Prices are very competitive.

The quality of the food was good but careful on your spice rating, they can produce very spicy dishes, just ask for little spice and that matches what we've had in Thailand and UK.

It is a lovely location and when no one is standing out on the balcony smoking, which unfortunately is quite often, it can be a very quaint place to have lunch. The spring rolls were custom-made order per my request and everything was exceptionally fresh. But today's lunch was highlighted by the quality of Vietnamese coffee. I could tell the young man making it really wanted to do a good job and put a lot of his heart and soul into it. While it is a Thai restaurant and they have Thai Dishes on the menu they are very much Vietnamese inspired Thai Dishes but, tasty...
