I don't usually like to leave bad reviews, but I was really looking forward to staying here long-term based on all the reviews I had read, but ended up being so disappointed. As some other reviews have mentioned, the cleanliness is horrendous and just ruins the stay. The standard studio is nothing special of course, its just standard - a dark room with a staircase right outside the window. The draws next to the bed don't close, so something is uneven somewhere. However, my biggest issues were that there was hair everywhere, on the floor, on the bed/pillows, all over the headboard, used towels from the previous guest/s were still hanging on the bathroom door, the laundry machine was filthy and had a bad smell, and I wasn't getting any hot water on my last morning so ended up having to have a cold shower. The kitchen counter has so many stains, bathroom had stains, I got to the point where I didn't even know what was or wasn't clean, what had or hadn't been changed since the last guest, and no guest should feel that way. I didn't find the staff to be friendly or accommodating during check-in, so didn't feel comfortable going to them with my multiple complaints. I also feel like the standard shouldn't have even been like this in the first place. The only positive I have is that it is very quiet. Also, as written in my Agoda review, I wanted to apologize to the staff member who came to tell me it was time to checkout at 11:20am. I was already upset with my stay overall and ended up being very snappy in my response to being asked to checkout, so I'm very sorry about that and it wasn't anything personal to you. The place has changed their checkout policy from 12pm to 11am, which hasn't yet been updated in some places.

I've spent a lot of time in Hanoi and this place is far and away the best place I've stayed. The room and rooftop deck are beautiful. The staff is top-notch, attentive, and very friendly. The manager, Thomas, was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. He made the experience very nice. The Tay Ho District it's located in has everything you'd need as a traveler, excellent cafés, restaurants, and pubs. I definitely give Moonlit Suites a 5-star rating without having to pay 5-star prices. The cost was very reasonable for what it has to offer. I highly recommend it 👍

You pretty much get good value for what you paid for. It is far from the main landmarks and sights so be try to maximize. If you have the extra budget you can go back and forth. The laundry is also good since your clothes will come out clean and dry after an hour or a few hours depending on the volume. A constructive criticism for the management would be to automatically replace the basic water, coffee and tea daily. Also, a door sign if guest want cleaning or towel replacement. Other than this everything is perfect.

Staying at Moonlit Suites Hotel in Hanoi is a true gem of a find. This is not your typical large-scale hotel, but a charming and well-appointed aparthotel that offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and a local, residential feel. It’s an ideal choice for travelers who want to experience the vibrant city of Hanoi while having a peaceful and relaxing retreat to return to. The suites themselves are a major highlight. They are beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and thoughtfully designed with a contemporary aesthetic. The rooms feel spacious and are equipped with fantastic amenities that make a longer stay particularly convenient. The inclusion of a washing machine and dryer in the room is a huge bonus, especially for those on extended travels. The comfortable beds and soundproofing ensure a great night's sleep, something that can be hard to come by in a bustling city like Hanoi. What truly sets Moonlit Suites apart is its location. Nestled in the Tay Ho (West Lake) area, it offers a quieter, more local experience than the frenetic energy of the Old Quarter. You're just a short walk from the beautiful West Lake, where you can enjoy peaceful strolls or jogs, and the neighborhood is filled with excellent cafes, restaurants, and local markets. While it's slightly removed from the main tourist hub, it's still very well-connected, with a quick and affordable taxi or Grab ride getting you to the Old Quarter and other attractions in no time. The staff at Moonlit Suites are another reason for its high praise. They are consistently noted for being friendly, helpful, and accommodating, providing a warm welcome and assistance with everything from arranging airport transfers to offering local recommendations. Their commitment to guest satisfaction makes you feel genuinely cared for and at home. In summary, Moonlit Suites Hotel is a fantastic option for a comfortable and serene stay in Hanoi. It’s a stylish, modern, and well-equipped hotel in a great location that provides a much-needed sense of tranquility after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable base with excellent service and a homely feel, Moonlit Suites is an...

I found this place to be an excellent, pet friendly hotel, situated in a nice quiet area near West Lake. Located within a 20-minute drive from Noi Bai Airport, and about the same to the centre of Hanoi. Several cafes are within walking distance, as well as a few Circle K & Winmart convenience stores and restaurants (mostly catering for Western tourists/visitors and not many local types). Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly host, who aided me with my bags down the narrow walkway (decoratively lit up at night and securely locked after hours with entry accessible via your rooms keycard), which led to the hotel's reception and accommodation buildings (two of). There's also a small garden area with some seating adjacent to the reception area and an undercover parking section for motorbikes. My air-conditioned room, which was accessible by an elevator, was clean, spacious, and had its own modern private bathroom. The room was bright and modern and had a medium-soft comfortable king-sized bed (5 out of 10 on the hardness scale). It was equipped with a flatscreen TV (Netflix app available), a refrigerator, a microwave, and a kettle, and furnished with a large wardrobe, desk & chair (with illuminated mirror), and some cupboards. My room also had a small (tiny) balcony good only for standing. WiFi was also freely available with a good, strong, and constant connection. In the past, when I travelled to Hanoi, I stayed near Hoan Kiem Lake (Old Quater) region. However, if I ever return, I'd probably try and stay at Moonlit Suites Hotel. It's great value for money, very quiet and comfortable in all aspects....highly...
