This bar wins the award for dirtiest in Hanoi. Even Old Quarter beer street bars are cleaner. We were the only customers. Old cigarette butts on the floor inside from previous nights. The tile floor was so greasy, we marked a line with our shoe for darts. Even though we were the only customers, the bartender found other things to do instead of greeting us or asking us if we wanted to drink. Early morning bike ride around West Lake led me to this spot selling chicken pho. I decided to give it a try. Mostly seated on the sidewalk by the lake, the dishes range from 40-50-60K, with options to add fried dough sticks and iced tea. A full bowl cost me 60K, and it was decent, nothing extraordinary.
