Simple Coffee — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Like the name suggests, it's very simply-designed shop. The espresso drinks are quite amazing, and actually you can choose a variety of nuts milks (almond, coconut, soy, oat) if you like. Vegan-friendly cookies are a must-try because they're favourful without buttery taste.

My (slight) complaint is that the location is at quite elusive corner of West Lake, which made it hard to find the first time around. But afterward, it's my favorite place to sit down for freelance work, writing, chatting with my close friends, hanging out with myself by West Lake (a few steps away from the shop). As an artist, I rarely find any better place than this to have quiet time doing my creative work.

This coffee shop is true to it’s name in the best ways possible; simple sometimes is exactly what you’re looking for. Due to COVID restrictions, when I visited they only had take out options, but the staff are very friendly and I was allowed to sit in one of the two tables available outside. It is the perfect quiet spot for working or reading with a view of the lake in a stretch of street that is not too busy or loud. I particularly enjoyed the varieties of syrup available to add to the drinks. My flat white was made to perfection. The coffee quality is amazing and the taste delicious, but it is highlighted by the talented staff when making the drinks. I was looking for a decent coffee place in Ciputra to change from Tay Ho (expat) area.

Simple coffee is conveniently located in a wide area, with lot of space to park motorbike, but also 2 floor and external space to accomodate customer.

Simple coffee stand out by hiring staff on the end of the spectrum, but also showing in-house bean processing. The place is spotless clean.

They also have locally sourced coffee from Son la. The coffee beans are fresh and the price is fair. They have a little corner for sustainable product.
