I found this restaurant by accident one night 6 months ago. Since then I’ve been eating here at least once a week, sometimes more. High quality food, flavorful, the portions are great and it’s insanely affordable. An absolute MUST if you’re in Hoi An.

I highly recommend the eggplant clay pot and usually pair it with either the stir fried beef with coriander/any lemongrass meat (chicken, pork or beef) and stir fried veg with garlic. This meal usually lasts me 2-3 meals, making it an exceptionally affordable option.

The seating area is not the best, with the hard wooden chairs but is across the road from a bar that always plays western classics loud enough to hear, which makes for a really comforting experience.

Highly recommended. I take everyone I know here and they’re always more...

One of our favorite meals of our 3 week trip in Hoi An! Miss Bon the chef, hostess and owner holds the title by many as 'Best Cao Lau' - a unique dish that shouldn't be missed when visiting the city. We can attest that the 'My Quang' was very tasty as well, and the beverages - local beer and coconuts - always cold. She is an incredibly sweet lady (mostly speaks Vietnamese) cooking outstanding dishes with love, and is consistent on quality and service. For the price, there are no restaurant or street food competitors that do it better than her. The patio is a lovely place to chill on a summer's evening in Hoi An and watch the bicycles float by. She is open essentially all day -- so there is never a bad time to eat there! The earlier you go, the more...

We wish we had discovered this place earlier in our stay! The eggplant in the clay pot is simply to die for, so much flavor! We also loved the onion rings (fresh onions and perfectly coated crispiness). And also the tofu dish! I've read complaints about the long waiting time. Attention! people, the lady taking your order is also the cook and the homeowner of the restaurant. She is serving up some incredibly delicious meals, so it's more than worth the wait, it's as if you have been invited into her home for dinner. Very affordable lovely dishes, the cleanliness level was very high. And you really feel like you're supporting local families. I'd eat there...

This is the BEST place I have eaten in Hoi An so far. Possibly the best place during my stay in Vietnam. It was a 7 minute was from our hotel (Le Pavillon). The beer was so cheap (44p for a bottle of Saigon), but more importantly the food was so tasty and freshly cooked. I had prawn spring rolls as a started, with aubergine cooked in a clay pot for my main course. My boyfriend had vegetable spring rolls, with sweet and sour tofu as his main course. All food was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Please try and speak a little Vietnamese when you go, even if you just use Google Translate. I got a few laughs when I tried, but it was appreciated 😁
