I stopped here at 6.30pm. The couple were very welcoming and gave me time to browse the menu. Whilst looking I noticed the sign said open til 6pm. There were two other tables sat with their drinks. I asked of it was still OK to order as they should be closed. They replied "no problem, please order". I ordered the lemon meringue tart and a hot tea. The lemon tart was very good, nice, strong lemon flavour. The cafe is road side but the background music and seating make it relaxing. I enjoyed my visit and the staff were lovely...

Lovely seating area, staff/service was excellent. Large portions served. Caramal macchiato was well made, didn’t seem very caramel-like but served with small pitcher of honey to sweeten it. Avocado toast and bacon were perfect. Cheesy scrambled eggs a little wet but very tasty and toast was thick sliced baguette toasted and great with served butter and I also dipped in the remainder of honey. I'm not sure where all the 5 star reviews came from. Maybe I just chose a bad dish but I had a very bland omelette. You can get much better portion sizes and better quality nearby for the same price. The juice was good but would not rate the food highly...
