After a long and adventurous hike through the charming streets of the Old Town, we decided to cap off the day with a delightful dining experience at Firefly Hoi A Restaurant. Intrigued by the glowing reviews and high ratings, we were filled with eager anticipation as we stepped inside the welcoming ambiance of the restaurant.

As we settled into our seats, I couldn't resist ordering the renowned White Rose dumplings - a dish that had been recommended to me time and time again. Alongside it, a refreshing smoothie to complement the flavors. My husband, always a fan of seafood, opted for the fish with rice, a choice that promised to tantalize his taste buds.

The first bite of the White Rose dumplings was nothing short of exquisite - a burst of flavors that danced on my palate, leaving me craving for more. The addition of morning glory to our meal brought a burst of freshness and crunch that perfectly complemented the savory dishes.

All the food we ordered was amazing. We first had the pumpkin soup which was quite good.

Then the cao lau noodles came, we ordered the chef noodles and also the vegetarian ones. We really liked both, and they were definitely not small as I've read in other reviews. just take a look at the photos in this review.

We were already full but we wanted to try some other light dish, as everything we had so far was nice. That's why we ordered some vegetarian fresh spring rolls too. I must say those were the best ones I've tried in a very long time, the dipping sauce was amazing (I believe it's a mix of vietnamese soy sauce with chili sauce).

Since I love vietnamese egg coffee I also ordered it, and to be honest it's one of the best ones I've ever had.

Everything is freshly made at the moment, nothing was premade or frozen (like in other restaurants). The watermelon juice, the spring rolls, the egg coffee... they take their effort to freshly make everything whenever you order it so that you get an authentic taste of the local food.

Everything I've attached in the photos was less than 20 USD which is a quite reasonable price.

The restaurant is run by a lovely vietnamese family who speaks English.
