The waiter was nice however that is all that was nice.
Our first plate had a hair in it. The second dish was a stirfry with tofu and tomatoes. It appeared as if the tomatoes came straight out of a can and got re-heated. Our third dish was a noodle dish that looked like it was simple 3 min noodles mixed with what seem like whatever was leftover in the fridge. Our fourth dish was supposed to a lemongrass chicken and chili but instead of informing us they didn't have any lemongrass, they improvised and served overcooked chicken breast with the same leftovers as what was in the third noodle dish. We were there for over an hour because the food took so long and for no reason. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant for that duration. The watermelon was served to us before we finished our food and it tasted odd. As if it was left out in the sun for too long earlier in the day and was being re-served.
I would not return and if I could give a negative rating, i would stay away! They should pay us for...
Read moreA quiet cafe+restaurant+bar in the quiet neighborhood of Hoi An. It's a block away from the river. The owner and staff are always happy to serve you with a smile. The food is typical Vietnamese food, with options of coffee, latte, americano, and so on. They have a full bar, too, which I never tried. I stayed at the hotel across the street and kept coming every day for my 10-day stay in the...
Read moreI love this place. It was so close to where we were staying. Beautiful mahogany furnishings. No walls so the breeze comes through. The staff are lovely. Their English isn’t great so you may not get what you were expecting, but that’s half the fun ( and they will replace it anyway). We went for breakfast for several days. Their breakfast egg noodles were great, and if you want something more western, have the fried or scrambled eggs with baguette. Great iced coffee. Very...
