I hope everyone read my review before coming to this place. First of all, the review on google was asked to do by restaurant owner. At the end of our meal, she came to ask us to give 5 stars on Google. From that moment, I knew I was like most of people have come to this place because of Excellent review rating on Google. On my personal view: Service: restaurant owner very friendly and talkative, she would come up to ask if we are fine every 30mins. She sat next table 10 mins to have a small talk with us Cleanliness: the place's small so they take care kinda well, restroom's also clean enough. Food: it's not much special if you don't want to say it's average, the portion is less, trust me even a Vietnamese can't get his stomach full with this portion Price: I think it's higher than average price in Hoi An Diversity: their menu have many options for you to choose, no worry about what to eat and as I said, the portion is less so you can try many different cuisines as you want.
I give 1 star to let everyone read this review and to balance the unreal ratings. NOT because this restaurant is a...
Read moreThe owner was really friendly. Service is excellent. Food is well-priced and delicious. We had the morning glory, big portion and delicious, egg noodles fried with seafood, sweet and sour chicken, spicy pork ribs, SO GOOD! And the famous white roses. Very good, I would recommend it to every tourist. Word of advice: when you’re in a place like Hoi An, be a good sport and just try their local food. You can almost never go wrong with fried rice, pork ribs or wings. While we were here, a foreigner came in and ordered spaghetti. And then he brought the plate back to the waitress and yelled, “This is not good. I know how to make good pasta, I can make it. This is terrible. No one can eat this. This is awful pasta. Give me a hamburger!” The staff and the cook were shock and I was in disbelief. White guy, this is Hoi An, Vietnam, if you want proper spaghetti, this is not the place to get it. Please, if you come here, embrace the culture, try their local food. Or if you do get pasta, just know this isn’t gourmet Italian....
Read moreI came here based on the numerous other positive reviews and I can see why there have been so many. This place is a true family run and orientated restaurant.
We were the only ones there on a Sunday afternoon, with our 9 month old and it felt more like a dinner with friends than being at a restaurant. Vicky was so warm and gave us recommendations on what we should get. We ended up with the morning glory, chau Lao and the whole fish, which was honestly amazingly crispy and saucy (would definitely recommend). She was even able to make some rice and chicken for our little one.
The best part of it all is that Vicky literally sat, alongside her daughter, feeding our little one and talking to us about life in Vietnam. We've been here for over two weeks now and it's been one of the most pleasant experiences.
I hope you get to go here when it's quiet too and you will get an incredibly diligent service, but even on a busy day, I can imagine it's all hands on deck.
Would highly recommend based on food and...
