Quán nướng Bình Dân — Restaurant in Hội An

I’ve been here twice now in the last few months.

The first time it seemed quite difficult to actually request/order food (no trouble with drinks). There were girls doing service that night. Second time an older guy seemed to be running around serving food and drinks. This time it was easy. He immediately brought pork and veg for the two of us and asked if we wanted beers. I then also ordered the sausage. No troubles!

The meat is delicious. The atmosphere is great too. Lots of folk taking a load off after the work day has finished. Drinks aplenty!

Parking is pretty easy on the roadside and I had no trouble...

I’m usually pretty cautious when it comes to street food in a new country—no one wants to deal with an upset stomach—but my experience at Quán Nướng Bình Dân was nothing short of amazing.

I ordered the pork belly plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The food came out fast and fresh, and the chef even came over to my table to show me how to properly enjoy all the ingredients together. That kind of personal touch made the meal feel special.

But what really blew me away was the service. After I finished eating, I asked the waiter if he knew where I could find a Vietnamese iced coffee nearby. Instead of just giving me directions, he smiled, told me to sit and relax, and then walked down the street himself to grab one for me. That level of hospitality is rare—especially coming from the U.S.—and I truly appreciated the gesture.

If you’re in the area and want incredible food and warm, thoughtful service, this spot is a must-visit. 5 stars without a doubt.

Mình gọi một phần thịt ba chỉ nướng và món ăn vừa ngon vừa được phục vụ rất nhanh. Đặc biệt, anh đầu bếp còn mang đĩa ra tận bàn và hướng dẫn cách ăn sao cho ngon nhất với đầy đủ các nguyên liệu trên đĩa. Một sự tận tâm hiếm thấy!

Điều khiến mình ấn tượng nhất là sau bữa ăn, mình hỏi bạn phục vụ xem có quán cà phê sữa đá nào gần đây không. Thay vì chỉ đường, bạn ấy bảo mình cứ ngồi nghỉ ngơi rồi tự đi ra đầu hẻm mua về cho mình một ly cà phê. Dịch vụ như vậy thật sự rất hiếm, nhất là khi mình đến từ Mỹ. Mình rất trân trọng cử chỉ chu đáo và ấm lòng này.

I was craving some meat after all the noodle soups I’ve been having… and passed by this roadside BBQ stall with tons of locals. Nobody speaks a word of English. You sit down, they give u a giant platter of meat, surrounded by locals eating/drinking and yelling at each other and Vietnamese techno music in the background. Occasional motorbikes stopping by for takeout.

Crispy, delicious pork belly with some greens and sauce. This is as authentic as it gets, highly recommend if you like the street...
