The delicious food and family who runs it have made this my favorite vegetarian restaurant of my Vietnam travels. I went for lunch after googling “Chay” restaurants in Hoi An, and went back 3 times again before leaving. To me it was hands down my favorite vegetarian restaurant in the Hoi An area, and throughout my journey from Ho Chi Minh so far this area has been the best so far. Every meal - from their special to the Cau Lau (I highly recommend it!) to the perfectly spicy ginger tea - was amazing! Great amount of food for the price too. The family is so friendly, the mother started it 30 years ago out of their house and now her daughter Linh owns it and hopes to pass it on someday to her daughter. I’ve been bicycling Vietnam and although the street food is fantastic, this vegetarian restaurant I would go back to time and time again if I stayed in Hoi An longer. Thank you Linh so much for the delicious food and welcoming me for...
Read moreCooking Class Review. We had a really nice experience today doing the cooking class. We met up at the Hoi A Market where we went to different shops and were told about different Vietnamese vegetables, fruits and food culture. Afterwards we went per motorbike to Linhs home (10 minutes ish), we started out seeing her garden and met parts of her family. Most time we spend cooking together, 6 different vegan dishes and tofu and coconut milk from scratch. It was informative, lots of fun and afterwards we ate one of our best meals in Vietnam. Before being brought to the city center we had a small desert. We at all time had the feeling of a personal experience with a cooking professional, we loved the touch of going to her garden and cooking her home. We got her recipes after hand and will definitely use them back home. Our biggest recommendations for this...
Read moreI can only recommend Ling‘s vegan cooking course to everyone! She is not only teaching how to cook delicious Vietnamese meals but also shows to her guests a vegan healthy lifestyle. It was so useful to go together to the local market, Ling explained about the vegetables and fruits, spices. After the visit at the market we went to her home where we could meet her kind family who are all eating vegan. We could see the vegetables in her garden how they grow. We picked also some herbs for the cooking from there. We were very surprised how for example peanut grows. We could prepare 6 different meals and even made our own tofu. During the preparation we could ask many questions. The dinner was fantastic! Ling and her family are very kind and lovely people who are caring a lot about the planet and the people! You will have the best...
