✨ A local recommended this spot in the market, and I’m so glad I tried it! We ordered both banh xeo and banh khot. 🥣 First things first—you have to eat both dishes with the fish sauce! If you like spicy food, don’t forget to add chili to the sauce for an extra kick. 🌮 The banh khot was freshly made and served crispy and you can choose the topping. The banh xeo was equally delicious. To fully enjoy it, wrap it in the fresh vegetables (similar to how you eat Korean BBQ) and dip it into the fish sauce. If you run out of vegetables, don’t worry—they’ll gladly refill them for you. 🥥 For drinks, we had fresh coconut and orange juice, both of which were refreshing and generously sized. 😊 Overall, I was very satisfied with the food and prices here. I’ll definitely be back!

A recommended bánh xèo place in District 1 turned out to be closed for the upcoming lunar new year (Tết) so I went back to my Airbnb and got on Google maps. This place looked good and I was tired of being ferried about in District 1. As I’m close to District 4, I chose this place due to reviews and pics. It was very good. As a previous reviewer noted, no English is spoken so Google translate is your friend. Despite the language barrier we muddled through and the folks there were very friendly. I recommend this place if you want good bánh xèo and are willingly to get out of the tourist zone.

Banh xeo was the first Vietnamese food I tried back when I was still a little nervous about eating street food and especially anything that might involve drinking water! Now I love almost all the culinary delights that Vietnam has to offer (except durian and baby duck eggs!), but I still have a soft spot for my first crush and THIS PLACE serves up the best banh xeo and bánh uot I have ever tasted. This is not an easy place to find. My mother in law introduced me to it and I thank her from the bottom of my heart. The food here is so good, so incredibly perfect, that I want to be buried with one of their banh xeos so I can eat it in heaven where it belongs! You have found this review so now find this place for yourself and discover the best banh...
