I was actually on my way somewhere else but I was so intrigued walking past this place! A man who I assume was the manager saw me standing outside and invited me to sit, I quickly flicked through a menu before asking for a table for one. The man asked me if I’d had Korean food before and I said not properly but I like kimchi and I like spicy foods. He talked me through his recommendations and I went for a bibimbap! Quickly about 6 little side dishes came out, bok choy, kimchis, pickled vegetables, little vegetable pancakes etc. Then the main dish came out and the man helped me to stir it around and add the gochujang sauce. It was absolutely delicious, I’d only come out for a small bite but it was an absolute feast and so delicious I had no trouble eating most of it!! Read moreIt is not close to authentic Korean food yet, we ordered 3 dishes, gimbap, kimchi fried rice, and tteokbokki, total 500k vnd. -I have nothing to say about the gimbap (8/10) -The kimchi fried rice is bland and needs more kimchi taste in it. Also it looks nothing like the picture on the menu! (6/10) -For tteokbokki (6.5/10), the rice cake was overcooked and was too soft. The rice cake needs to be a bit more chewy. The fish cake, on the other hand, needs to be cooked a bit longer..... I had to wait until the tteokbokki got cold for the texture to become better.
