First I just want to point out that dimsum isn't for everyone. It's mostly oily and somewhat heavy for breakfast, please keep that in mind. To start, this place is centered at a 3 way intersection. It's a pain to get here but definitely worth your while. Once inside you're greeted by the employees which gives a "fine dining" sort of feel. However, it's not quite like that. The environment is peaceful and most of the customers who eat here are mostly polite. I guess to sum it up, they have several floors and people with children are placed differently. I noticed couples are taken to the upper levels. Anyway, on to the taste! So if you've eaten dimsum, you'll probably know what to expect. If you haven't, then I'll explain to you the reason I gave a 4 star to this restaurant. The plating is excellent, I wouldn't say it's craftsmanship that will leave you in awe, but it's pleasing to the eyes. However, the taste is underwhelming. Why? Because unlike most dimsum places, this particular restaurant uses a relatively soft outer layer for their recipe. Examples are Xiu Mai and Ha Cao. The Xiu Mai uses a soft and nearly crumbling wonton coat, it disappoints me a bit that it breaks apart before I even put it in my mouth. This could be due to excessive steaming, but in short, everything you eat here will break apart when you grab them with chop sticks. The texture of the fillings is loose instead of firm. I will give them the seasoning part though. It's very flavorful and not too salty or sweet. So, there is a small amount of problems they need to fix with their steaming, but overall it's a great restaurant. Lots of selection and good service! Will come again often 😁 ✌PEACE!!!

I just had the most delightful dim sum lunch at Baoz Dimsum in Ho Chi Minh City! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was craving those little parcels of deliciousness, and this place did not disappoint. Walking in, the atmosphere was light and airy, with a modern take on Chinese design. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even with my limited Vietnamese. They patiently explained some of the menu items that were new to me and helped me build a perfect selection for a solo lunch. The star of the show, of course, was the dim sum. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. I particularly loved the har gow (shrimp dumplings) - the translucent wrappers cradled perfectly plump shrimp, and the first bite was a burst of flavor. The pork buns were melt-in-your-mouth good, and the pan-fried chive cakes were crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. Overall, Baoz Dimsum was a fantastic find. It's a great spot for a delicious and affordable dim sum experience. If you're looking for a break from all the amazing Vietnamese street food, this is a must-try!

2 major mistakes made on 1 viait. 1st mistake LAZY WIATRESS LIED TO MY FACE when I asked for a baby chair with a tray. As they had brought a wood high chair suitable for a toddler not a 1 year old like my daughter. The wood chair has a much deeper back rest, my daughter can't lean back. It has no safety bar or seat belt to keep her in securely, she can easily slip out of the wooden chair. Being that we have been here many times I knew she was lying and went to another floor to get one mysel lf. 2nd mistake: If you like duck don't come here because they're not going to give you one on Sundays when they're most busy. When you come on a Sunday and order a duck but told you cannot have duck unless you make it in a dish or several dishes and must divide it up and get each dish over 20 minutes each then another one then 20 minutes then another one. A whole duck is simple. I see a nice price for a duck on Wednesdays almost half price but the regular price is 699k which we were willing to pay. It makes no sense that you can bring out three dishes that take time to prepare instead of hang out one whole duck chopped like we wanted it. It makes no sense that we were refuse this You're forcing your kitchen staff into making conditions that take longer and make everybody else wait for other stuff. You can get duck with stir fried dishes with noodles and other things that you cannot have a whole duck by itself. Absolutely ridiculous and a well deserved one star. This place has come too far on its reputation it is no longer the place it used to be. We have eaten here 10 times with large groups this will be our last time. Again because the ducks hanging in the window all over town, And on the tabletop photo, are not available in this place on Sundays! Brought all the above to the attention of a manager who said the duck was available. He then brought the bill with no discount for all the about thus it tells customers management has no empowerment we paid full price for this bill and thus the one star is still deserved. The fact that the waitress lied to us we had to order much more dim sum and spent about 50% more than we would of if we would have got a duck.

A Hong Kong-style tea restaurant in District 5 of Ho Chi Minh City, which is very famous and always crowded every holiday. It was my friend's birthday this time, so I decided to give it a try. For their food part: There are many types, including siomai, barbecued pork buns, fried rice, and noodles. Everything is very Hong Kong-style, but at the same time it's a bit like Vietnamese food. My favorites are their barbecued pork buns and egg tarts, which are very delicious and impressed me. But it is also relatively oily, so be careful not to eat too much at one time. For the drinks part : Their drink is also good, milk tea or lemon tea all have a bit of a Hong Kong feel. The most important thing is that the overall price is not expensive. Total six of us only need VND 1,500,000. But one thing to note is that you must book in advance, otherwise there will be really many people!

I’ve been to this restaurant a standard 5 times. I’m all about giving chances. However, I have to say that the service here is lacking. Not lacking in the taste department, but the general logic of the waiters and waitresses. If I had to describe their way of thinking in 1 word, it’d be ignorant. On an empty day, they stand around chatting and lazy about while 2 tables of customers wait to order. Now I’m not an impatient person, but a blatant disregard of a hungry customer is destructive to a restaurant. The food is great, definitely reflects the price. Comes out hot, and at moderate timing. Not fast but not slow either. Tea is incredible, fragrant and strong. It helps break down the fatty tasting dim sum. 3 stars for the food. -2 for the poor service.

This place is clean and the food is great. Ít atmosphere is relaxed unlike some of the more local authentic Chinatown dim sum restaurants. My only complaint was the motorbike parking attendants. While I we were there it rained hard but the attendant didn’t try to keep our helmets dry and when my girlfriend asked if he had a towel to dry our wet seat he scoffed at her and said that’s not his job, even though the attendants wear “Baoz Dimsum” shirts. Another attendant overheard and brought over a towel and wiped the seat with no issue. If this place wants to be considered a “nice, high quality” restaurant please make sure the parking attendants are in line with your message. 1-star for the parking experience, 5-stars for the wait staff, though.
