I’ve been dining at Botejyu multiple times a week for the past few months, and every visit has been an absolute joy. 🥳
From the flavorful avocado sushi to the Osaka-style beef (which melts in your mouth), every dish is prepared with care and authenticity. 👌
One of my new favorites is the grilled salmon. I actually dared to try salmon for the very first time here, and it completely won me over. 🍣😃
The Gyokuro green iced tea is wonderfully refreshing. I often start with one of their fresh salads, always served with crisp greens and vibrant toppings. I personally request it without dressing, and the kitchen always kindly accommodates my preferences without hesitation.
What truly makes Botejyu special is the warm, attentive staff. They remember you, they smile, and they genuinely care. It’s a place that quickly starts to feel like home and I will truly miss it. 🥹

Botejyu is more like a family restaurant serving various Japanese dishes. I managed to snatch a coupon on their opening week so that was why I went. This bowl was pretty much just a simple spicy miso they slapped together so that they could list ramen on the menu. There were some miso flavors but there's not anything else going for it. It was probably one of the thinnest miso broth for ramen I had. As for the noodles, they just feel like generic ramen noodles they bought from the supermarket downstairs ngl. *Updated 2nd visit, ridiculous 20 over minutes wait for their signature okonomiyaki, even when they are not busy when the restaurant wasn’t even half filled.
If the food takes quite some time to cook, please notify the customer. I rejected the food and refused to pay for it.
20 minutes is long enough to cook a pot of rice or steam a whole fish.
