Read moreCrescent Lake Park is a beautiful urban oasis tucked into the heart of Phu My Hung in District 7. The park is centered around a semi-artificial lake approximately 3.4 hectares in size, which is shaped like a crescent moon—hence its poetic name. Around the lake there are winding walking paths, green lawns, and tall trees, offering a fresh retreat from the bustle of the city.
One of the park’s most iconic features is the Starlight Bridge (Cầu Ánh Sao). At night, this pedestrian bridge transforms into a shining spectacle with LED lights, colorful waterfalls, and reflections dancing on the water below. It’s especially romantic in the evening when the lights come alive.
What I like: early morning strolls here are peaceful and calming, and later in the day, the sunset view across the lake is wonderful. The setting is ideal for relaxing, chatting with friends, or finding a quiet corner to reflect. The cafés, restaurants, and stores around the lake and nearby Crescent Mall also make it easy to combine nature with city life.
If there were any drawbacks, it might be that it gets quite crowded in the evenings and during weekends, particularly around the bridge when the lights are on. Still, the ambience more than makes up for it. Overall, Crescent Lake Park is one of my favorite spots in Saigon—a place where nature, architecture, and community blend...
Read moreGreat park to jog around at night. The bridge is the only area where you'll need to slow down and watch out for walkers and folks taking photos. I ran across the bridge after the rain and noticed some parts can be slippery (be careful). The bridge is lit up with rotating colors that line the side of the bridge which makes it very romantic for couples. I saw a few that was posing for photos. The park ground on opposite side of the restaurants only have few areas with lights and most are dark due to trees. During the day is probably better for venturing in there. Starbucks and Highland Coffee is located opposite the park where restaurants are.
Had a chance to visit our during the day (opposite side of the pond where thecoffee shops were) and it was nearly empty. Very nice areas with shade for a picnic. Saw some dogs with their owners (even though there were signs not allowing dogs). Welcome...
