Cô Ba Vũng Tàu — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The food is decent, no complaints there. However where this place really loses points for me is in its standards and customer service. We came in and were seated, after which were basically ignored and forgotten about, other customers who came in after were seated and given menus, we were not. After calling a few times we get a single menu for a table of 4, while a table of 2 that came us after us had 2 menus given to them.

The waitresses are not attentive in the slightest, had to try to get their attention multiple times, once even giving up and going to talk directly to the kitchen staff instead. Only time they were attentive is when you call out for the bill.

Food service was quite long and served individually so we were basically eating separate meals at the same table. But what really took the cake was them allowing a table of customers to bring their dogs in which proceeded to shake and shed fur. I don't understand how this is seen as ok in a place where...

This restaurant is definitely not the representative of Vietnam foods! I order 3 dishes and all disappointed!! the signature dish of “Banh khot Vung Tau”, its menu show as the food we used to eat in Vung Tau beach city, but the actual food served by this restaurant totally much worse: thick powder, no crispy, seafood not fresh, — how come they claimed that they are official branch of the store in Vung Tau when the food much worse, not even close! The second dish is “Bun cha ca” - fish cake noodle, and it turned out that all is fish ball-not the typical fish cake, and it went with spicy pepper inside (I can eat spicy food quite well normally but this one is too much)!! Even worse, the soup is full of crab taste- not a light fish soup! The staffs there are quite nice but a lady look like owner was quite noisy when she’s chit chatting/ talking...

The service was unbearably long, we waited for more than half an hour and we hadnt got a SINGLE plate of food. We ate 3 plates of pickles while waiting for the food. Its one thing if we didnt say a word but its another to ask the manager and staff MULTIPLE times and still get a “please wait for one minute”.
