I had a very bad experience here.
I ordered Thai red curry with pork, Thai pad, and chicken. The Thai red curry smells very bad, like spoiled bamboo shoots and I can not eat. I asked the staff if there was anything wrong with the ingredients and she said it was the normal smell of Thai curry without rechecking with the chef.
I have eaten Thai curry at other restaurants and have never been to any case like this.
I don't know if that was my tasting problem or if their Thai curry was bad. But I recommend this restaurant should check these options:
Warning customers about the flavor of the dishes when they order, at least let them know the curry will have a not good smell;
Changing the recipe, removing the bamboo shoots, or at least handling the bamboo shoots better so that the smell disappears.
For more, I also recommend that the restaurant recheck the training process. As I said, the staff received my feedback on the curry but she didn't check with the chef, just checked it herself. The restaurant should train all staff on what to do in cases like this.
I have been in another case of spoiled ingredients in dishes at another smaller restaurant but they handled the case very well (rechecked with the chef, and offered me another dish or cashback).
Very disappointed with Chada Thai, I will never return and of course never recommend this...

Read moreNot exactly authentic but still a very interesting take on Thai cuisine. Great taste overall. Crab fried rice is quite bland yet fragrant. Pad Thai is highly recommended. Green curry is good dipping sauce for banh mi but it lacks coconut cream. Tom Yum soup, on the other hand, is a bit too creamy, yet well-balanced between sweet and sour. The sticky rice with mango is a tremendous highlight of the meal. Overall worth the price and the experience.
The space is quite small with limited seatings. It's air-conditioned thus quite comfortable. Staff is quite attentive...
