Cheese coffee — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Keep reading for detailed reviews of moon cakes and drinks. As for the space and vibe, if you're familiar with this franchise, it's kinda redundant explaining how the place is often warm, cosy but comfy. There's lots of seats inside with 3 4 different floors (I'm unsure, never walked all the way up top). Seats are cute and comfy. As for the food, i ordered the salted cream coffee, coconut milk tea and dragon fruit & cheese flavoured moon cake.

salted cream coffee: okay, best one I've had so far, compared to other cafés. Coffee was of good balance, just enough milk and coffee amount to hit the mark. Sweetness was of average which was commendable, considering lots of cafes either go too sweet or too bland. Love their choice of brew. Salted cream could use a bit more saltiness since it was a bit bland and forgettable to me. But cream was of good texture, very airy and silky, and the amount was also a lot weehee.

coconut milk tea: tea was well made and the coconut flavour did not overpower. It worked out amazingly.

moon cake: okay this is the controversial part. Dragon fruit flavoured moon cake but has no dragon fruit taste (this is a very subtle flavour and they did not succeed utilising it lol, as no one has ever), only the beautiful carmelia shade. They used sesame seeds to mimick the dragon fruit seeds and that part was controversial to me. The moment i tasted sesame, i knew they miss with this one. But cream cheese filling was so buttery and creamy and cheesy and everything. I wish there could've been more of it. Tempted to try other flavours out and see if they can redeem themselves.

Overall: love the space and service (staffs were friendly and helpful, esp the security guard! Give him a raise!) Affordable price per usual. Moon cake could...

The food was fine, the vibe was quite so-so. The baristas were all fine.

But my problems were with the parking attendants. It was raining, and he was talking with some other guy and was distracted. He didn't even notice me park behind him, under the patio. I only got the parking ticket when one of the baristas came outside to get it for me. He then took my bike out of the patio, putting it under the rain and soaking it along with my raincoat I left hanging to dry.

Big coffee shop. it have beautiful decorations which you can take selfie with your friends. Great place for informal team meeting or friends gathering. The drinks and food portions quite reasonable compare with the price and the location of the shop.
