D'Maris — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Had the best buffet experience ever at D’Maris! I’m visiting Saigon for a couple of weeks and wanted to treat my partner to a sushi buffet for his birthday. I found D’Maris on Google and booked it for the sushi - but wow, it totally exceeded expectations!

Not only was the sushi incredibly fresh and delicious, but the entire buffet was impressive - so many different kinds of food, all high quality. The service was excellent too. The staff were super attentive from the start, getting back to me on Facebook to help with the booking, all the way until we left the restaurant.

Everyone we interacted with, including the manager (she was lovely - even noticed I hadn’t tried the steak or orange juice and recommended them!), was warm, friendly, and made sure we were having a great time. Every time we got up to grab food, someone would tidy our table - such thoughtful touches. They even gave us a cozy window seat with a great view, which made the evening feel extra special.

We were also pleasantly surprised with a 30% discount on my partner’s meal for his birthday - totally unexpected! He absolutely loved spending his birthday here.

If you’re in Saigon and looking for a great all-you-can-eat buffet, go for it! D’Maris really delivers. The staff truly deserve a raise for their kindness and...

Food was super delicious. There were many different kind of delicacies like Korean, Japanese, Chinese & western. They served many different kind of sushis but they only have 2 kinds of sashimi - tuna & salmon.

A live naengmyeon station can be found at the end of the sushi aisle, where you can choose between 물냉면 or the spicy cold noodles. The chef will prepare the bowl of cold noodles for you & after that, you can simply choose your toppings by yourself (beef slices, radish, kimchi, cucumber & eggs to choose from).

The Korean food selection was superb. Even the bulgogi & bossam tastes good. What surprised me was that they even have raw marinated crab (with soy sauce & also yangnyeom; the spicy one). Both crabs were packing in flavour & there were a lot of meat in them too. There were marinated cockles also, which was the first time I’m seeing.

The steam seafood was so good as well. The prawn’s head was so flavourful & the meat tasted sweet even without any sauces. Didn’t get to try the steak but I saw many people queuing for it. Will definitely...

I visited this buffet today and had a disappointing experience. I don't know what system they use to calculate prices, but it seems odd and I feel like I got scammed. A few days ago, the price increased by about 30,000 dong, which I was aware of. However, I was charged an additional 35,000 dong more than the new price, even though I didn't order anything extra or receive any additional services. This extra charge wasn't mentioned or shown on the receipt.

Additionally, the attached restroom was in terrible condition. It smelled bad and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned, which ruined my appetite. The employees were nice, and the food quality was okay, but they only offered salmon sushi once and never refilled it, even though I arrived early.
