If only I could rate 6 stars out of 5...
I happen to avoid gluten for years now in France, and I found this place by accident while visiting some friends in Saigon. I used to come to the café/restaurant many times a week, sometimes twice a day.
The food is amazing, I have never found any equivalent in Europe in terms of food quality. Everything is absolutely tasty. I was pretty disappointed with the gluten-free pizzas in Italy, and here.. what a surprise. So tasty and crispy at the same time. The Tira-Misu is awesome, as well as the Forêt Noire (a bit sweet though for me). The cookies were eaten on the plane on my way back to Paris. Best sellers: the Bagel which is one of the best ever. The burger is pretty good (angus meat). The bagel bliss (nice for brunch) is top notch. You really can't tell it's gluten-free, and it's even better than other restaurants (that use gluten). The flours and ingredients they use are from a very good quality.
You may order from Facebook (with extra toppings if you wish), and the staff will contact you through What'sApp/Zalo to deliver you. Plus, it is more than clean. I had troubles arriving in Vietnam, and I needed to eat safe after a few days there. This bakery/restaurant is perfect for sensitive stomach.
The staff is lovely: Chau will take time to talk with you in Vietnamese (I am French-Vietnamese) while Nat will make you travel thanks to coffee (he's passionate and will tell you stories and his experience). They do their best to constantly improve what they have to offer best. Also, the cute dog called "Hippie" will give you a warm welcome on arrival. The place is small, but you'll enjoy a nice background music, not too loud fortunately (unlike other venues in Vietnam).
So go there whether you are gluten intolerant or not. Really do try their coffees: I am not drinking coffee and I have ended buying more than 1kg of coffee...!
Unfortunately I am no longer in Vietnam but I will for sure come back in the years to come. Please stay open and I wish you become more and more successful...
Read moreNot a fan of bagel since we had a really bad and hard bagel a long time ago. Took a chance on the bagel here and it changed our life, never looking at bagel the same way again (sounds exaggerated but no kidding).
That’s how good their bagels are, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every mouthful makes us wonder why all bagel shops don’t do bagels like this.
Coffee taste is not very strong (and bitter) like the other Vietnamese coffees but we like how smooth it tastes. This got to be the most smooth coffee we’ve had in our life.
We tried their Black Forest cake too, though it doesn’t have the traditional liquor cherry taste but more chocolatey taste, it is still very delicious. We appreciate that they have a different kind of cake flavour from what district two bakeries/cafes offer too.
We will definitely be back to try...
Read moreLovely place and food. I had a gluten free pizza with mushrooms and bacon. The dough was outstanding for gluten free pizza. Really good, Super happy with it 😊 I also bought a multi grain loaf of bread and a cinnamon roll for takeaway. Multi grain loaf is also excellent, the cinnamon roll slightly too dry for my taste buds (but that's rather complaining on a very high level. It also tasted good). Prices are not cheap, but seem justified considering that very good high-quality ingredients are being used. Staff is absolutely lovely, very friendly and accommodating. My only real complaint is that we live in D7, and they are in D2. Haha 😂 All kidding aside, what a lovely find. Grateful to have you guys around, and we wish you well and...
