Izakaya Unatoto Tân Bình — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I recently dined at your restaurant with my family and wanted to share some feedback on our experience.

Firstly, I would like to commend the quality of the food. The dishes were delicious, and we appreciated the effort put into their preparation.

However, there were some aspects of the service that could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience. After finishing our starters, we had to wait approximately 15 minutes for our main courses to arrive. Additionally, four members of my family ordered rice, but only three portions were initially served. The fourth portion arrived 30 minutes later, after we had to ask three times, which disrupted our ability to enjoy the meal together.

The attitude of the female staff member who delivered the rice and the check was notably cold. When I inquired about the delay in the fourth portion, I received the same response, “please wait,” three times, without any further explanation or apology.

While the food was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. I believe that hiring a dedicated Food Runner could help streamline the delivery of dishes and improve the overall dining experience. Additionally, more attentive and empathetic service from the staff would make a significant difference.

If you're a fan of Japanese food, you absolutely have to visit Unatoto. This place is a true masterpiece and has ruined all other sushi restaurants for me. It's the best sushi I have ever had in my life, hands down. While they specialize in Japanese eel (unagi), which is grilled to absolute perfection, their entire menu is incredible. The sushi is so fresh and expertly crafted, every bite is a little piece of heaven. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and authentic. I'm completely obsessed with this place and I'll be coming back...

Intetesting place for family gatherings or even first date 🤣 The greetings and drum rollings whenever someone walked in were impressive. U can also enjoy your meals on the counter and watch the chef grilling eels, super exciting and memorable.

The male and female servers were so friendly and supportive. Even it was their closing time, they were happy to turn on the light at the entrance and wait for me and my friend to take some pics 🥹 without any attitude at all
