Ms Huong Beo Crab Noodle Soup — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I ordered the special and I got a little surprise - balut. Besides the fetus surprise, the sour and slightly putrid taste of the soup threw me off as well. Maybe mixing the bowl to help blend the spices at the bottom helped? I dunno.

This place is not something a Western palate would handle but if you're down for adventure, this will fit the bill.

Watch out for the extra fee of using the wet towels. Very scummy for them to leave it out to charge for using it with no napkins around to wipe...

The restaurant is arranged in the old Northern style, the walls are painted yellow, making it quite prominent and easy to find. It is quite spacious, clean but a bit hot inside. Especially during the day. The staff is polite and friendly. The noodles taste quite good but the portion is really small.
