Very bad experience overall.
The location is the only positive aspect of this place. It's a posh restaurant as you can find in any other 5 star hotel in any other major city in the far East.
Coming to the rest : we arrived and the waitress (who could barely understand English) placed us on two stools at a high level table. We asked for a regular table and we were told there was no option (the restaurant was 80% empty and so it remained by the time we left). Aside the quality of the paper of the menu (poor and broken), the menus offered were outdated (with not available dishes). Starters were OK (a scallops and mushrooms soup that didn't make much sense but was acceptable, and decent pate de fois gras - to eat which we had to wait for some bread at least 10 minutes). After that we ordered 2 lobsters. Aside the micro size, which can be expected, I have the strongly doubt they were fresh. Plus, the one on my partner (who ordered something a bit creative with some cheese sauce and caviar) was uneadible (I tasted it and spit it out. Not sure why she was polite and decided not to send it back). The only good things food wise: the French fries (which we ordered out of menu) and the drinks (very nice lychee ice tea with rosebuds, despite the second round, which we ordered to drink with the lobsters, arrived after we were done).
Bottom line : I could easily find a better way to spend 140...
Read moreSeriously this is the worst service I ever experienced. Do not go here, overpriced menu, EXTREMELY RUDE staff. Zero food etiquette. For such a fancy place the staff and overal restaurant is atrocious. They messed up most our orders, not informed at all about their menu so it’s a nightmare especially for vegetarians. The staff also don’t speak English mostly. Food is extremely mid. We waited 20 minutes for our food and then they came to tell us we have to wait 30 more minutes. The vegetable curry has no vegetables only tempeh and tofu. We tried to send it back but the wait literally handed it to someone else at our table and said they should eat it because we still had to pay for it and blamed them for ordering it. We didn’t eat it and they tried to make us pay for it still. Had to speak to three other staff after that to get to the manager. The chair broke on us and the guy didn’t apologize but just exchanged it with another chair at another table. I had three other guests that didn’t speak Viet but they kept on speaking to me over them which was just so disrespectful when we informed them to speak to us in English several times. Honestly just avoid this place disgusting service food is not good and way overpriced. Just...
Read moreI came here for dinner with my parents to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and we greatly enjoyed our time here! The restaurant opens at 6PM, and we arrived a little after 6PM, so it was very empty, but around 7PM, it was pretty busy! We visited on a Monday for the Mega Monday deal ☺️ The food was great; We wanted to try many dishes, and my mother greatly enjoyed the lobster in truffle cream sauce. We went to order the lobster, but we do not speak Vietnamese, and the chef does not seem to speak English. However, a server in black suit quickly rushed to us and helped us order in fluent English. We greatly appreciated her help! This is not our first time here, and all the servers here are very professional and helpful 🌟 I highly recommend getting the grilled lobster in spicy cheese or grilled scallop in spicy cheese 🌟🌟 The dessert section was also great! I liked the peanut butter chocolate mousse ☺️ The interior design is also quite...
