The Toast House — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

So so so sad for the owner of this outlet...

I saw this Brand in the cảnh viên apartments complex before COVID lockdown in 2020 ...

My thoughts at that time was wrong offering in the wrong market...

I walked by Star Hills apartments complex today... I thought I would give it an honest try...

I finished ordering my takeaway of 4 standard menu items... 35 minutes before I could leave with my food ...

Perhaps slowliness is a Zen culture acceptable for Taiwan.... Unless you accept and enjoy this Zen culture...best not to come for dine in nor takeaway because I saw dine in patrons waited as Long as my takeaway order...

Food quality... I can't Evaluate because I don't know how Taiwanese snack supposed to taste....

however, relatively to Vietnamese Cantonese Japanese Korean...these food are not Value for Money to myself...

First time dining in since The Toast House moved from Cảnh Viên to Star Hill. We like the black tea (right amount of sweetness) and the sugarless soya milk, Jumbo Spicy Chicken Sandwich was delicious but too salty. Overall environment’s okay but feels worn out. Bathrooms need major make-over urgently. Tables were not properly wiped, I could still see oil on it. They were playing K-drama on the big screen and the volume’s way too loud it really kills the dining experience.

A big no-no is when one of the staff starts sweeping the floors while us customers are still eating…We were very uncomfortable having to eat with all the dusts flying around because of the sweeping. Please remind your staff to NOT SWEEP when there’s still customers eating inside. This is a hygiene hazard.
