Ăn Thôi — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

This popular restaurant, which I decided to visit on my last full day in Nha Trang, had received numerous positive reviews on Google. Upon arrival around 1pm, I noticed there were about 8 people ahead of me waiting to be seated. Fortunately, I only had to wait for around 10 minutes before getting a table.

From my observation, it seemed that a majority, approximately 80%, of the guests were Korean. This indicated that the restaurant is likely a must-visit spot for tourists. The menu was relatively simple, offering less than 30 items to choose from. Among the dishes I tried, the scallops stood out as my favorite.

While I enjoyed the meal, I wouldn't describe it as super fantastic, especially considering the prices were not particularly cheap compared to the local spending standards. However, I would still recommend giving it a try at least once, especially if you're in search of a popular tourist restaurant with a decent selection of dishes.

Overall, the positive Google reviews and the restaurant's popularity among Korean tourists suggest that it has earned a reputation for delivering satisfying dining experiences. The taste is extremely bad, the worst restaurant I have eaten in Nha Trang for more than a week. I ordered a bowl of pho, which was not Vietnamese at all, but more like Korean food. Also ordered a pineapple rice, said it was recommended here, but it was very bad, no flavor, not even as good as the buffet breakfast in the hotel. The rice was dry and hard, there was no fragrant powder, and the seafood was very little. The worst thing is that the oysters and seafood, they are so stale that they feel like they are dead and have a strong fishy smell when eaten. This is really too bad. Never order seafood! The scallops are very small and stinky, 100% frozen scallops covered in cheap cheese ( burger cheese perhaps ) to cover the bad smell . My friend and I both had food poisoning…. Very unpleasant experience .

The queue was long, the service was little to none . there was an unpleasant seafood stench at the entrance of the restaurant, The place is full of Korean, didn’t see any local here( there was another customer that sit next to us literally took his shoes off and start scratching his toes the entire time ) , The hygiene is very concerning. Also the Pho noodles in here is absolutely ridiculous, never would expect to be severed with pho that taste like Korean instant ramen here in Vietnam . it’s not freshly made...
