A hub of delicious food!!
My partner were walking the streets of Nha Trang and were looking for a place to eat. We saw about 3-4 smiling faces in the Banh mi shop who were waving to say hello. We stopped by to read the menu and realised there was not just the Banh mi shop, but a hub of food options under one roof, so we decided to eat there for lunch.
Great service: On our way to our table all employees we walked past greeted us with a smile. Staff were always alert and ready to help and be of service whenever we needed. Waitstaff Nhu and manager Lan were very helpful and attentive to detail. They catered to our needs and provided menu recommendations. Lan was very open to receiving feedback if we were to have any suggestions to improve the dining experience. At the end of our meal the owner Thao came over to say hello and thanked us for stopping by. We had a great chat and she shouted us coffee!! Thao, you should be proud of what you have created, we look forward to seeing this establishment thrive!
Very hygienic: The toilets are quite new and very clean with individual hand towels for hand drying. There are staff always on hand keeping the bathrooms refreshed. The kitchen looks extremely clean from the bbq restaurant, there are also windows to watch the chefs in action.
Food: We ate downstairs at the bbq grill, ordered pulled pork and a side of kimchi and we were given complimentary grilled pineapple as a side. We recommend this dish, the pork was juicy and you can choose which marinade you’d like the pork to be cooked in. The pork/pineapple/kimchi combo tasted great together. There was also a selection of sauces on the table as well as paper towel and wet wipes. We also ordered from the Vietnamese restaurant upstairs and had it delivered downstairs where we were seated. From there we ordered ‘Chả Cá Basa Hấp Bông Bí’ (Stuffed pumpkin flowers with Basa fishcake) and ‘Bún Chả Mẹ in’ (vermicelli with grilled minced pork and pork belly). All of these dishes were fresh and tasty, we would return and order them again. We are considering coming back here tonight for dinner!
Climate: it was 27° and hot outside and we were looking for a restaurant to escape the heat. The bbq restaurant has high ceilings, open doors and many ceiling fans to keep the temperature and guests cool.
What else does it offer? The establishment offers many food options including shops for coffee, Banh mi and pho (three small shops out the front), traditional Vietnamese cuisine (upstairs) and bbq (downstairs). There is something for everybody here! Thanks so much for your service, we will recommend this place to our family...
Read moreIt was around 3pm yesterday. I got terrible experience over there. Let me share with you guys what I had bad services at this restaurant.
Ordered one bowl of beef noodle and one piece of sandwich. Sandwich served okay but slightly late. Taste is just everage.
However. Let me talk about that stupid noodle.
No food serve while i waited 30 min after ordering. Then I called and asked waiter to check my order. And he said "it is coming". I'm wondering it was not pick hours not my customers. And waited another 5-10 min. Then I called other waitress to check my order again. She replied after checking with kitchen "sorry wait 5 more min" oops. I realized my order was missing and just ordered. And finally served with other table who ordered maybe same menu with what I ordered and they came there obviously later than us. And no one opologised.
And I tried noodle and soup. Huh.. this was first time I tasted in Vietnam that kind of PHO which was not taste what I know. It was really not good. And I realized something is missing and found there was no vegetable dishes served with noodle when I almost finished. And I called waitress and why didn't served with vegetable. But didn't understand what was wrong.... normally Vietnamese noodle soap should be served with various kind of fresh uncooked vegetables but this shop "WASN'T".
Anyway I don't want to complain and just paid and left that terrible restaurant
AND...
Some more my stomach was pain a bit.
I forgot... I ordered one more dish... spring roll. This supposed not to call SPRING roll but to call kind of winter roll or something since it was terrible rubber skin (not fresh like spring)
But atmosphere is not bad. No wonder it terrible expensive than...
Read moreThe restaurant has an incredibly cozy atmosphere. We sat on the ground floor in the garden, which was a peaceful and beautiful spot. There were lots of lovely plants and a few birds in cages, happily chirping away.
The service is excellent; the staff speak English very well and are attentive. They keep an eye on whether you need a drink refill or if you’re not eating something correctly (in the traditional style), and they explain it to you.
The food is delicious. We ordered the spareribs, which is the number one dish. They were incredibly tender with a nice smoky flavor, and they literally fell off the bone.
The stewed beef was very tasty and juicy, but it had more of a tartare texture than traditional stweded beef. But still it was delicious!
The beef skewers were delicious and highly recommended—great flavor!
The tofu was also fantastic, as were the salads. However, the grilled pineapple, which we ordered separately, could have used a bit more of a grilled and honey flavor. It tasted more like lightly sautéed fresh pineapple.
All in all, the service was perfect, and the food was excellent and very tasty. Definitely a must visit for tourists! The staff is super...
